about technologies from
the process of
constructing this product?

2. Over the course I have used a wide range of different
technology such as Photoshop, Survey monkey and using
different types of Cameras.

3. Photoshop
 With Photoshop I had never used it before my
Preliminary Task. At the start I had problems with using
the different layers and the overall programme. When it
came to some of the tools I used with the pictures I
found the “Liquefy” tool hard to smooth out the sides
and edges of the pictures. To over come the problems I
had I just kept using the programme and to gain
confidence in using it. I feel as if I kept using it and
looked at some YouTube videos to see how to different
things I would get better quality work, but for now I am
confident in using Photoshop.

4. Survey Monkey
With Survey Monkey I used it to create a survey for
feedback for specific target audience information by
asking a series of questions for which I would get a reply
form each person and all the information would come
back and be in graphs. I found this programme simple to
use as it was straight forward to type in the questions that
I had created.

5. Blogger
At the start of the course I set up a blog on blogger were I
put all my information and work throughout the course. I
again found it quite straight forward to use but it took a
bit to get use to and to make sure that everything was
spelt correctly and to contently put updates on how I was
doing with my work.

6. Photo Taking
For taking pictures I used three different cameras: a
Cannon DSLR, a Nikon D5100 and a normal digital camera.
For the photos of the artist and the other people I mainly
use the Nikon and the Cannon as they were better quality.
Using these were difficult, but as I had borrowed them
from friends and they were there whilst I was taking the
pictures that helped my get the lighting and the focus to
the best quality. I feel if I had been more confident behind
the camera then the pictures could have been stronger.
With the picture on the contents page of a concert I used
a picture that I had taken from a concert. Due to the
lighting in the room the pictures were not very clear but
there was nothing I could do to change it.

7. Prezi
I used Prezi throughout my course to make presentation
on different aspects of the course. I had used Prezi once
before, but I was still not confident using it as it was hard
to use the first time. I found trying to navigate around the
site hard and trying to fit in all the necessary information
needed. If I kept using Prezi I feel as if my confidence
would have grown and my Prezi’s would be better.

8. Go Animate
At the start of the course we did a Go Animate, but I did
not like using it. I found it complicated and also there was
not enough room or time to put in the necessary
information as it could only be 30 seconds long which is
not enough time.

9. Sound cloud
I had never used Sound Cloud before, but when I first used
it at the beginning of the course I found it simple to use as
I would record a voice recording on my phone then email
to myself and then put it on sound cloud. As I found it
easy to use, I continued to use it throughout my course
and embed the voice overs in Prezi’s and having Podcasts.

10. Over all I feel very confident using the different
technologies throughout the course and I feel as though I
have over come some of the difficulty's I had.
