From creating their magazine project, the author learned to use several new software programs. They used Blogger to create blogs and upload posts, photos, and powerpoints, learning how to format content. Photoshop and PicMonkey were used to edit photos, gaining basic photo editing skills. Word was used instead of InDesign to create the magazine, and the author discovered Word can remove backgrounds from images. Prezi was employed for part of the evaluation, teaching the author how to create an animated story presentation.

Throughout the process of creating my magazine I have used various software's , below is
a list of the programmes I used :

3. What did I learn?
From making my magazine I have learned how to use different software's that I had
never used before like Blogger.com , I now have my own account and know how to
upload posts onto blogs , within these posts I have learnt how to upload and move
pictures in them and also upload power points on to them .
I used Pic monkey and Photoshop to edit a few of my photos for my magazine , before
this process I had no idea how to use these two products and now I know the basics
of these programmes and how to edit my photos in the correct way and in the way I
want to.
I used word to create my magazine instead of in design. The reason I used word is
because I wanted to be able to make and edit my magazine at home and my laptop
does not have in design . I learned that word can actually do alot more than I thought
, for example I learned how to remove backgrounds to images on word which came in
handy as I done this for the main image on my front cover. I start my magazine on in
design and I learnt how to use the basics on the software , I found it difficult to get my
images and text where I actually wanted them though and in the way I wanted them.
Another software I used for this project is Prezi , I used this for part of my evaluation
, i learnt how to create a kind of story with my information and how to animate it so it
moves on to the next part of my work when it needs to.
