Job description
• Manage All the Mechanical facilities while ensuring the objective of availability , reliability
,efficiency , and cost control are achieved
• Manage and control all the mechanical maintenance direct and indirect costs as per the
approved budget in both OPEX, CAPEX and directly with my manger
• Prepare the yearly Mechanical Maintenance budget plan for all the facilities as per the
maintenance plan
• Manage the Maximo Maintenance program and authorizes as Plant manager on the Maximo
• Trace the KPI,s for all the facilities and adjust the required maintenance needs as per approved
budget
• Apply the maintenance tasks in compliance with company industrial management system (IMS)
and maintenance program standards using Maximo as CMMS software , and continue in
contribution in the technical field

2. • Execute trouble shooting and preventive maintenance of pumps (repair mechanical seal,
change damaged bearing, change labyrinth and check lubrication system of pump, , perform
root cause analysis for pump failure, check coupling alignment, check liquid leak, lubrication,
and seal
 Lead the maintenance team in complete major overhauling for (centrifugal compressors
manufactured by Atlas copco , Screw compressors (Mechanical Chillers )(Trane) and cryogenic
pumps( manufactured by sefco ), by preparing shutdown plan and providing estimate hours &
duration for each job to operation and the executing for each task maintenance team and
coordinating with 3rd
party service for performing vibration measurements , oil analysis , water
analysis
 Maintain regular preventive maintenance on the machine and plant facilities in compliance with
the company preventive maintenance program
 Diagnose the problem replace or repair parts ,test and make adjustment
 Well organized and attend a FAT for compressors and turbo Expander in FS Elliott / ACD
 Attend the Commissioning and start up for new industrial gas Plant as responsible for all the
mechanical issues and RFSR
 Participate and contribute with different sites inside Egypt and outside for TAR –Maintenance
by supervise and lead a group of maintenance team in the site as directly by the maintenance
manager and perform the required tasks scheduled in different majors as:
1. Complete overhauling for cooling tower Air Liquide QATAR
2. Complete overhauling for chill tower Air Liquide QATAR
3. Overhauling for LIN process pump (Sefco) Air Liquide QATAR
4. Mechanical inspection on Electrical Motor 12 MW (ABB) Air Liquide QATAR
5. Centrifugal compressor Overhauling 3 stage (Cooper) Air liquide Alexandria
6. Laby reciprocating O2 compressor overhauling (Sulzer) Air liquide Alexandria
7. Overhauling for multistage centrifugal process pump (cryostar) Air liquide Portsaied

• Lead The mechanical team in revamping project for old Plant (VSA )(Vacuum swing adsorper )
1. Perform Overhauling for Vacuum pump ( Howden manufacture )

3. Complete service is done for all the butterfly valves by replacing the bearings , regrease
it , and check the valve liner , check the time of opening and closing (Valve

5. Complete overhauling for double acting actuators by inspecting the rack and pinion
condition , casing , for any kind of wear and repair if necessary and replace the repair

6. Major overhauling for Air Fan ( manufactured by ventmeca)
1. Inspection on the suction and discharge expansion joint and replace it
2. Inspection on the fixed and free Plummer blocks for any kind of wear and replace

4. Balancing the impeller with the shaft with service provider in external work shop
 How to achieve the required maintenance and services by reviewing the equipment drawing
plus vendor maintenance procedure and recommendations for work orders.
 Firing various regular reports (as monthly maintenance & KPI).
 My target is to prepare and control the maintenance cost within the planned budget

3.  Cover and implement the spare part issue according to our needs
 Contribute in the department paper work routine such as daily progress and
coordination meeting, daily reports, monthly reports, work orders and spare parts
material list of CMMS system (Maximo).
 Familiar with safety activities and OSHA standard, Prepare risk assessment ,HAZOP,
FMEA and
control due to hazards associated with equipment's and materials form MSDS for the
maintenance jobs performed., prepare work permits which differs due to job applied,
take corrective action for near miss actions in my jobs or others jobs, evaluate workers
safety knowledge and implementation).
• Responsible for plant operation, issuing preventative maintenance plans, monitoring with
analyzing maintenance activity status on daily basis.
• Contribute to decisions related to operation continual improvement
 Follow up and implements the IMS with preparing SOP to comply with it.
