• After successfully completion of maintenance contract, I’m continuing on the Shell project to
support major shutdown activities as a Plant Area Shutdown coordinator.
• Monitoring and Supervising the execution of day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance
activities and unit/major shutdown related to mechanical, electrical and instrumentation plant and
process equipment, (rotary & stationary) Fire fighting Equipments. Workshop machines and other
mechanical plant and equipment. Fabrication of spare parts required for the plant and machinery.
• Investigating and troubleshooting maintenance problems.
• Provide mechanical expertise/support to the maintenance and inspection team.
• Responsible for the overall maintenance management of the project.
• Manage any planned or unplanned equipment repairs.
• Managing of the mechanical manpower for the area & assigning specific responsibilities
according to their experiences and skills.
• Plan and schedule daily maintenance activities and provide required support to field maintenance
personnel.
• Continuously review equipment spare parts and Bill of Materials to ensure availability
• Technical completion of maintenance work orders and prepare backlog report.
• Follow up on field work progress, identify problem areas and update the plan accordingly.
• Attend contract clarification and work progress meeting, perform any and all duties deemed
necessary by the maintenance management to accomplish the successful operation of the plant.
• Daily Monitoring with Operation / Maintenance planning group in the planning, estimating,
scheduling and coordinating the execution of daily maintenance work orders and construction
work, ensuring that enough resources, materials and services are available.
• Direct the planning effort to continuously review spare parts for existing and new equipment to
ensure availability for normally scheduled or emergency repairs.
• Daily Monitoring of all equipments and identifies operational problems to avoid costly
Shutdown.
