EPC Contractor and Major international operation companies in Oil and Gas Field. I had been assigned to lead

My role focus on Head of Instrument & Electrical Engineering and including the duties of Technical Authority of
Instrumentation by ensuring that the company standards and procedures are followed, monitoring and approving
technical dispensation from company approved technical standards. Responsible for management and

Project BP/GUPCO ComplexPlatforms Rehabilitation projects :Rehabilitation of Ramadan 6 Complex
based on risk reduction study (HAZOP, SIL assessment,…). Ramadan 6 Complex consists of four platforms
(Drilling Platform, Booster Platform, Production Platform & Gas Lift Platform), the scope of work include
new ESD and F&G systems.
Project WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT DETAILED ENGINEERING AT THE EGYPTIAN LNG SITE, IDKU, EGYPT:
New Waste heat recovery units will be retrofitted to the exhaust system of the (four) GTGs to heat up the
hot oil to the required temperature which will achieve the save the energy lost with GTGs’ exhaust gases,
solve problem of the lack of hot oil duty & increase plant thermal efficiency by saving the hot oil heaters
fuel gas, GTGs retrofitting will be done via installation of waste heat recovery unit to each GTG stack. The
required waste heat recovery units shall produce at least 36 Gj/hr/GTG which results in a duty of 108
Gj/hr if three GTGs are in service.
Form May, 2008 To Des. 2008 : Main duties/responsibilities: Sr. Instrument & Control. Engineer
Project Akik Gas Plant Re-Location –KHALDACO. Engineering Services. The key objectives of the
engineering services will include a process model analysis of the existing plant and detailed engineering
which include process, mechanical, civil/structural, piping, electrical and new instrumentation and control
system and F&G system and tie-in with the existing control system at SALAM plant.
Project Muzhil Oil Field – offshore/onshore facilities. The engineering services include Detail engineering

United Gas Derivatives Company is being developed by a joint venture comprising BP, IEOC and GASCO, I worked
as instrument lead engineer as part of the project management team for the Port Said NGL plant, Damietta export
facilities & Pipeline SCADA system project with US $ 450 Million, after start up I promoted to be the Instrument
Department head and my Responsibilities included the following:
Participated in EPC for the Port Said NGL plant, Damietta export facilities & Pipeline SCADA system as
instrument project Engineer.
Participated in the plant commissioning and start-up of the NGL plant & Pipeline SCADA system.
