Destinee Williamson, Midwestern State University, climbed to fourth nationally in assists last weekend, tallying a pair
of assists and a goal for four points in a 1-1 week for Midwestern State. The Bedford, Texas native scored the game
winner in the 26th minute of a 3-0 shutout of UT Permian Basin while assisting on Sarah Stewart's goal in the 63rd
minute. Her three points Sunday against the Falcons moved her to seventh in the school record books with 69 career
points. Williamson also provided a helper in Brandy Villasana's game-tying goal in the 88th minute against Angelo State
Friday with a free kick. Williamson has recorded an assist in six-straight games and ranks 45th in the country with 12
points this season.
Leslie Campuzano, Texas A&M University-Commerce, had two goals in the Lions' 4-0 win over Eastern New Mexico on
Friday, including the game-winning goal. On the first goal, the freshman used her speed to rush past a Greyhound
defender on a breakaway and she shot the ball into the net. Not six minutes later, she found the twine again. This time,
she showed accuracy from a distance, shooting off of her non-dominant left foot from 25 yards away into the net. In the
span of 10 minutes, she had scored her first two goals of the season and put the game out of reach quickly. In the Lions'
2-1 loss to WT, Campuzano was unable to get a shot off but was active throughout the game, fighting for possession, as
the game was close until the final minutes. Campuzano has 10 shots on goal this season, with more than half of her
shots going on goal.
Calista Cordero, West Texas A&M University, scored her second career goal and first game winner in a 2-1 upset
victory over No. 11 Texas A&M-Commerce on Sunday. Cordero scored the game winner Sunday in the 81st minute,
breaking a 1-1 tie as the Lady Buffs pulled the upset. She has played in seven games with six starts, scoring two goals
and is second on the team in points with four.
Mirka Zamarripa, Eastern New Mexico University, had a team-high four shots on goal last week. She tallied the game-
winning goal on Sunday against Texas Woman’s, which was her third overall goal of the season.

California native made five saves in the two games while allowing just three goals.
