1. When looking at the existing video for out chosen song, there were some elements that we thought were very effective and wanted to
replicate. Throughout the video, there are constant references to patriotism and the constant image of the colour red being explicitly linked
with this idea. Although we have different ideas for our video, we like the idea of subliminal messaging subtly woven throughout the video.
The title ‘Don’t look back into the sun’ provides connotations of nostalgia and reminiscing, despite the need to move forward. This is because
the idea of looking back into the ‘sun’ provides connotations of happier times. It could also represent Doherty’s ideologies of his perfect
England and how that is changing. This idea inspired out music video as it forms a flashback of happy and fun times however the it ends how it
started, representing the idea that despite looking back, it is a new day and we need to move forward. Luke came up with the idea to place
posters cleverly into some of our wider shots which subtly emphasise this point without being explicit. We came up with a brief plan of what
we wanted the poster to look like and developed it on photoshop.

2. To come up with our second draft, we simply layered images that we
wanted to use and positioned them. We then used photo shop to
enhance the appearance and give it a more cohesive aesthetic.
This is our finished poster after being edited on Photoshop. We like the slightly
dishevelled look to it as we feel it represents the band and their style. We will replace the
picture of Doherty with the male talent used in our video and then print them out and
place in our establishing shots.
