I was greeted by the shining yellow sun pouring in through the window and the smell of breakfast
coming through the door and entering my bedroom. I get up and get dressed for the best vacation I
was going to. I was planning on making big memories while on the trip. I walk into the kitchen and
see my mom cooking.

There are things in the world that are similar, but there are some that are better than others. One
example of this is the similarities of American crocodiles and American alligators. They usually are
confused by people because of their very close resemblance but they have different traits. Their
traits can be used to see which one is better and the one that is better is the crocodile. One thing that
is different between crocodiles and alligators is their locations. They both live around South
America in Florida, but most crocodiles, "are found in southern Mexico, Central America, the
Caribbean, and northern South America" (National Geographic, "American Crocodile"). As for the

Before the father's disappearance, the house the family lives in became infested with cockroaches.
