3. Take the initiative to interact with friends from various races and ethnicities.

ACTIVITIES PRE LESSON (KNOWLEDGE)
1. Pupils watch the video on youtube
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=km2V69527iE ) It is a story about best
friends from various races.
2. Pupils talk about the story in the video.
WHILE LESSON (SOCIOEMOTION)
1. Pupils match picture of friends with their correct traditional food.
2.Pupils write the suitable information into the mind maps regarding things
related to one’s race.
3. Pupils discuss the answer with each other.
CLOSURE (ACTION)
1.Pupils are shown an example of letter to a best friend of different race. They
read aloud the letter.
2.In groups, pupils are given a letter template with jumbled up sentences.
3. Pupils rearrange the sentences to make a complete letter to a Chinese friend.
They present their letter to class. (Group Project)
4.Teacher recaps the lesson on telling the students appreciate friends from
different races.
