Risk Hazard Risk Level
(Low/Moderate/High)
Prevention
Dogs Dogs may be away from their
owners as site is a regular dog-
walking route. Loose dogs may
then be a hazard to all
cast/crew members.
Moderate Ensure that loose dogs are on
leads or at a safe distance away
from set.
Potential Rain The ground may become
slippery if any rain falls.
Equipment may become wet.
Low Check weather forecast for a
day to film without any rain
due. Ensure equipment is stored
properly when not in use.
Limited Visibility If filming takes longer than
expected it may get dark. People
will then have restricted vision
and filming quality will be
reduced.
Low Stick to call sheet/schedule.
2. Drowning A pond is approximately a 3-
minute walk away from the site.
Drowning may occur if
cast/crew members visit the
location.
Low Ensure Cast/Crew members
stay on site.
Road Accidents On route to the site where
filming will commence, busy
roads will need to be crossed.
Collisions with vehicles could
happen if full care is not given.
Moderate Use all available road crossings
including traffic lights and
ensure full attention is given
when on route to site.
Wet Mud Potential slip hazard/way to
destroy props, equipment and
costume.
low Ensure all footpaths are used
and equipment is stored
properly when not in use.
Tripping on obstructions such
as gravestones
Cast/Crew may trip on
gravestones if attention is not
given.
Moderate Ensure that all people are aware
of the locations of gravestones
before filming.
