2. ELLIE GOULDING
The picture shows Ellie Goulding's
print advert for our album 'Lights'
since reflecting on the title of the
album she has decided to add
lights within her hair which gives it
an affect of glitter which brings out
the ad more. Doing this appeals
more to a target audience of girls
as it looks like glitter which is quite
feminine and has the feel of a
sultry look.
Star Ratings by magazines and
newspapers.
Same text for her name and the
album that she is promoting.
Narrative – album called lights using
lights with her hair.
3. JESSIE J
The picture below shows Jessie J for her album cover of
'Who you are' compared to Ellie Goulding's album 'Lights'
this did not have any star rating by any company. It only
has a descriptive line of that the album includes her smash
hit number one single. So the customer is normally drawn
to fact that the singer sings a particular song. The advert
also includes her website so the customer can go on the
official website to purchase an album or go there for
advertisement.
Same colour gold text for headlines/titles and
white text for the different names.
Advert just incorporates 3 colours black, white
and gold.
4. LADY GAGA
This is the print advert for Lady Gaga's single born this
way which has it simplicity but effectiveness through the
way that she is portrayed. Lady Gaga is depicted in a way
where she has horns and her face is seen to look
geometric but the customer is able to tell it is Lady Gaga.
The simple word 'GAGA' is spread across the third of the
poster telling the customer who she is and not saying
Lady as she doesn't look that feminine. The full stops
within the date are replaced by crosses which causes
controversy between the way that she looks which will
appeal to more of her audience.Plain poster with just the name and date
Black and white image which could represent
darkness or mystery
5. LADY GAGA
The last print advert we researched into was
Lady Gaga's single 'Applause' as we felt that it
was essential we know the previous designs that
Lady Gaga had done so when producing our ads
we would know a design to follow. We saw that
with this design it was bright coloured and
included more information than the previous
design which was black and white and had one
source of colour.
Names of people who produced the advert
and helped towards it.
The name of the artist and the song she is
promoting.
