1.0 INTRODUCTION
Olympics are mega–global event that attracts the attention worldwide with billions of audience
watching on television, while millions flock to events as spectators. The media embraces the
opportunity of covering every inch of the games. This kind of interest is what organisers face with
no room for error in relation to external attacks or system failures of the event although risks are
bound to occur to any project or program as in the case of Olympics. These risks may occur with a
positive impact to the organisers though they dread to have negative risks, which causes ripple effect

In the years leading up to the 2012 presidential elections, there seemed to be a lot of people that
were moving away from their traditional party lines and changing sides. It would seem that Mitt
Romney's career as a wealthy businessman would become harmful in the same ways that the "swift
boat" attacks on Kerry were harmful in 2004. During John Kerry's running for the presidency in
2004, his Vietnam "record" came under scrutiny in so much as to discredit his wartime service. In

Organization Profile The organization asking for assistance with its campaign is a small mental
health nonprofit in Singapore. The company operates facilities that provide services to the mentally
ill such as counseling, hospital–alternative programs, case management, housing assistance, and
community outreach. The community outreach branch has been participating in the World Suicide
Prevention Day campaigns since they were first organized, but there has been very little
participation by the community, or even similar agencies, in this effort. The company has a
particular stake in this effort as the mentally ill population in the region is almost three times more
likely to commit suicide than an individual who does not claim mental health problems (SingHealth,
2012).
Relevant Issues Singapore has its own committee that conducts a local suicide prevention day in
March of select years (SingHealth, 2012), so assistance from the county is unlikely other than verbal
