Who Is Muhammad Ali In Heaven
Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is now in heaven despite his Islamic faith, Martin Luther King,
Jr.'s niece Alveda King said.
In a write–up published by Christian Newswire, Alveda King talked about the eternal fate of the late
legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, who succumbed to Parkinson's disease on June 3 at the age of 74.
The evangelist said she believes she will see the world's greatest boxer in heaven.
"Some may question my prayer that I'll see Mr. Ali in Heaven. Yet God is ever merciful and judges
the human heart," said King in the letter. "Mr. Ali is subject to the same grace and mercy that all
humans seek."
King also defended the boxer's decision to convert to Islam and change his name from Cassius Clay
to Muhammad Ali. She said it was partly

The Muhammad Is The Messenger Of God
All faithful Muslims are called to pray in Cairo. The song on the video is the call that sounds five
times a day every day in cities across the world. Nearly a quarter of the people on earth respond to it
with the enduring spirit of Islam. The video states that in the Islam religion, Mohammed is the
Messenger of God. The Islamic civilization has been one of the humanity's grandest achievements, a
worldwide power founded simply on faith, a spiritual revolution that would shape the nations of
three continents, and launch an Empire. For the West, much of the history of Islam has been
obscured behind a veil of fear and misunderstanding. It was Muslim scholars who retained the
wisdom of the Greeks while Europe languished in the dark ages. It was Muslims who sowed the
seeds of the Renaissance 600 years before the birth of Leonardo Da Vinci. From the way they heal
the sick to the numerals they use for counting, cultures across the globe have been shaped by the
Islamic civilization. However, all this began with an ordinary man and the profound message he
proclaimed would change the world forever. His name was Mohammed.
To Muslims, the life of Muhammad is a story revealed. Muhammad was born in or around 570 AD
in the sun blasted Arabian Peninsula, a land of scarcity whose tribes were always in a state of war.
While still an infant, Muhammad's parents gave him his first tasteful of life in the dessert.
Muhammad was from a town named Mecca, but he was sent off to live with the better

The Muhammad As A Prophet
The aim of this essay is to determine whether it is right to regard Muhammad as a prophet or a
statesman or both of the following.
The Oxford English Dictionary defines a prophet as someone who speaks or is regarded as speaking,
for or in the name of God or a God. The special function of revealing or predicting the future is
often regarded as an essential element of the work of a prophet. As per the definition states, a
prophet is someone who brings the message of God or a God. Muhammad received his first
revelations in the year 610 when he was around the age of forty. Years before the revelations, he
established a habit of withdrawing himself to go to the mountains outside of Mecca to pray in peace
and solitude. During one of these retreats Muhammad began having unusual experiences, hearing
voices and having visions indicating that God had chosen him as his prophet. The angel Gabriel
appeared in one of his visions giving him his first revelation that was a passage from the Quran. The
first revelations stated that there is only one God who on the day of judgement will weigh every
man's performance of moral and religious acts and decide whether he is deserving of eternal bliss in
heaven or eternal punishment in hell. This is one such element in the revelations he received that
predicts an important future event, which also is one of the characteristics of a prophet. At first
Muhammad had difficulties coming to terms with his role as a prophet and accepting his fate and

Muhammad 's Influence On Islam
In the year wchih followed the Revelation, Muhammad began his public preaching. The first
converts include his wife – Khadija, cousin – Ali, other people closely related to him, and eventually
more people from his own clan of Hashim. At first there was no sign of opposition against
Muhammad's teaching, but as it become more widespread in Mecca, people start seeing it as a threat
to the city's stability. Muhammad's message about a single, all–powerful deity negates the
legitimacy of the haram and its idols, puting the holy and neutral status of the site at risk. This
theological clash continued to put pressure on Muhammad and his followers. However, they receive
protection because of the solidity of the clan system. It had been Abu Talib, Muhammad's uncle,
who united the Hashim in support of Muhammad and protected him for his Meccan opposition.
In 619, both Khadija and Abu Thalib, two of Muhammad's most important protecters passed away
and his opposition became even more bold and determined to pressure Muhammad. It is important
to remember that the previous early success of the spread of Islam in Mecca could only be achieved
because of Muhammad's allegience and close relationship with these two important Meccan figures.
In other words, Muhammad's kinship paved the way for his teachings to be disemminated within the
Meccan society. As Meccans become more hostile towards Muhammad, he began to look outside his
native city for support. At this crucial point, Muhammad was

Noor Mohamed

Assalamualaikum, my name is Noor Mohamed and I will be talking about the greatest creation of
Allah, Prophet Muhammad SAW. And this is not just coming out of my mouth. Allah told Prophet
Muhammad SAW "You are not only my greatest prophet, You are not only my greatest messenger,
But you O'Muhammad are the greatest creation I have ever created." Also when Allah mentions the
other prophets in the Quran, he just said the Prophet's names. But when Allah mentions Prophet
Muhammad's name SAW, he sometimes says " ‫رسول‬ ‫"محمد‬ which means Muhammad SAW is the
Messenger. In Surat Al –Fath, verse 29 it says ‫رسول‬ ‫محمد‬. Prophet Muhammad SAW is my role

They all wanted to have the honor of moving the Stone in the right place. Prophet Muhammad SAW
solved this problem. They put the Black Stone in the middle of the cloth each person carried one
corner of the cloth and put it in the right place. Prophet Muhammad SAW was fair because he let
everybody who wanted to carry the Black Stone, carry it and put it in the right place.
Prophet Muhammad SAW is also very brave. One day there was a big bang in Madinah. A rock hit
from the sky. This was in the middle of the night and for the people living there, this was scary
because they never heard of big bangs. But Prophet Muhammad SAW being the brave man that he
is, went riding on a horse without a saddle to see what had happened. He came back and told the
people that everything was ok.
Prophet Muhammad SAW was VERY trustworthy. One day people from his village went to his
house to kill him (because they hated his message). When they entered his home to kill him, they
found Prophet Muhammad SAW cousin, Ali RA. Prophet Muhammad SAW left Ali RA when he
escaped for one reason and one reason only. To give those people their valuables and money back.
But they never thought to go to Prophet Muhammad SAW and tell him to give them their money
back because they trusted him and because they knew he was the most trustworthy person in Mecca.

The Between Muhammad And Allah
1. THE PROPHET MOHAMMED 1.1 What is the relationship between Mohammed and Allah?
The relationship of Muhammad and Allah was based on complete faith and absolute sincerity, true
love, obedience and surrender to Him. To summaries the relationship you could use the word 'Islam'.
1.2 Do Muslims worship Mohammad?
No, Muslims do not worship Mohammad. They worship Allah and they say that He lives and will
never die.
1.3 How do Muslims view Jesus?
Muslims respect and revere Jesus. They view Jesus as unique for being the only prophet in Islam
who neither married nor had children. Christ is seen to be a Prophet and Envoy of God of
outstanding greatness, but only a man and nothing more. They do not see Him as Son of God but

Most Christians today insist Jesus was crucified and died on the cross and two days later He was
resurrected.
Christians believe in the concept of original sin. Humans are born sinners as they bear the burden of
Adam and Eve. While Muslims do not believe in the ''original sin'' because in the Qur'an God
forgave Adam for what he had done and no one should be made to bear the burden of someone else's
sin or mistake because it is unfair.
3. ONE OF THE FIVE PILLARS IS PRAYER
3.1 Write a short paragraph on the rituals and frequency of this prayer.
'Salah' – Muslims are expected to pray five times per day. This will occur at midday, late afternoon,
after sunset and at night. During these breaks a call is made from the minaret calling the people to
pray. Before one prays, a purification ritual will take place. This ritual is that a person must wash
themselves in clean running water, in the order of hands, mouth, nose, face, arms and then wet
hands are run over the head and neck, then the ears and finally the feet. During the prayer it also
involves specific postures which are standing, stooping, kneeling and also sitting. Whilst kneeling,
the forehead and chin must be touching the ground. This is all known as rakah – specific words and
postures. The prayers may be said anywhere that is sanitary. They will be opened, shoes must be
removed and the individual will always face Mecca. On Fridays at midday,

The Quran And The Prophet Muhammad
It all began around the time period of 650 AD when the Quran was written. The prophet Muhammad
wrote the Quran from direct wordings of God. In the Quran the prophet Muhammad helps guide the
Muslims to have a righteous life and to follow his path. Within this sacred book, it also brings
different testimonial disputes which lead to discrete views. I believe the Quran is a sacred book that
helps guide the Muslims to the righteous path by illustrating a relationship between the Abrahamic
religions, how the Quran portray the Jews and Christians, and the important connections between
the Abrahamic religions. These are the key points that one will understand by the in depth process of
analyzing the Quran document.
There is a relationship between Islam, Judaism, and Christianity when it comes to certain aspects in
each religious practice. On the other hand, there are also relationships between two of the religions
and not all. These Abrahamic religions believe in a god, "God is All–mighty, the Avenger" , the
Abrahamic religions believe that God is the true all mighty, the creator of heaven and earth. In
addition, they believe that God can see every little thing that's going on, "Nothing on Earth or in
Heaven is hidden Him" . The similarity that the Abrahamic religions have is the idea of believing in
one God, making them all a monotheistic religion. "We worship no one but God and do not
associate [any god] with Him, and we do not take each other as lords instead of God" . This shows

Muhammad was known as the prophet of Allah. With modest beginnings, he ended up starting the
Islamic religion and building an empire in Arabia. Through his life, he taught important things, and
his legacy forever has an impression on the world.
Muhammad was born in Makkah, with his father already dead. Following customs, his mother sent
him away to live with nomads for a few years. Sadly, his mother died soon after he came home,
making him an orphan. His uncle took him in, and after accompanying his uncle on trading trips, he
became a trader. Later, he began managing caravans for a widow named Khadijah, and eventually
she requested for a marriage and he accepted.

Some of his followers were tortured, but the Muslims didn't give up. As the number of Muslims
grew, the Makkans started to boycott, and refused to do any business with the Hashim clan,
Muhammad's clan. This took a toll on many people in Muhammad's clan, resulThe year
Muhammad's family died, he went on the Night Journey. This was a winged horse taking him to
Jerusalem.
Muhammad went to Madinah, because he was getting protection there. Over here, he made a
Muslim community, and had everyone respect Christians and Jews. Like Muslims, they were known
as People of the Book. The Makkans and Muslims fought many battles against each other. After
everything settled down, Muhammad led his final pilgrimage, and in Makkah, he delivered the Last
Sermon, and died soon after.
After Muhammad's death, Arabia was succeeded by 4 "rightly guided" people, also known as the 4
caliphs. Over the course of 100 years, the 4 caliphs expanded the empire, and spread Islam from
Spain to India. There were sometimes disagreements, and the Muslims and the Umayyads started a
civil war when Ali became 4th caliph. After Ali was murdered, the leader of Umayyad clan claimed
the caliphate and started a dynasty, which eventually lead to a split between the Sunnis and the Shi'a.

Muhammad led a very interesting life, he lived among pagans, where people were not monotheistic.
He believed that he was a prophet of god, and at first, tried to convince people to follow his
teachings by encouraging them. As time went by he resorted to violence. Muhhamad became the
prophet of Islam having several visits from an angel. As Muhammad was reaching his late thirties,
he would visit a cave on Mount Hira. Muhammad would visit the cave often because he would use it
as an escape from the world. In 610 Muhammad reached his forties. Muhammad returned from his

small amount of followers because his teachings and morals went against the Meccan way of life.
Muhammad and his followers were treated with little respect and were victims of many physical and

city of Yathrib. Yathrib was two hundred and eighty miles north of mecca. The city was in desperate
need for a leader who would be strong, protect the country and be supportive. The city of Yahrib

The Prophet Muhammad Of The Islamic Faith
A person whose character has played a major role in history and continues to influence people
worldwide is the Prophet Muhammad, the last prophet in the Islamic faith. There are many
misconceptions about Muhammad, but if you were to ask any Muslim living now or at his time for
one fact about him, they would tell you that he was a man of character. Even before given revelation
from God through Angel Gabriel, Muhammad was known through Mecca as the Truthful and the
Trustworthy. He was born an orphan and was brought up by family relatives. Muhammad's character
shows his endurance through the toughest of times. As Islam spread, more and more people
converted simply because they were mesmerized by Muhammad's character. He didn't just preach
the religion, he actually lived it. Three major characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad were that he
was kind, loving, and patient. Muhammad was a known for his kindness, making him someone
people could confide in and trust. One example of when the Prophet Muhammad demonstrated
kindness was the story about his neighbor. There was once a woman who lived next door to
Muhammad. This woman was cruel and would dump trash on his doorstep every day. The trash
would cut and bruise his bare feet, but he never complained to her. One morning, there was no trash
on Muhammad's doorstep. The Prophet became concerned and went next door. He was told that she
was very ill. Saddened by this, he went home and returned to his neighbor's house with

She has done her homework in compiling this book and it shows as she goes back and forth with the
dates of different events. The book also shows maps in the beginning that help the reader to get a
better idea of the geography of the area in the past times along with genealogical charts that give a
clear picture of Muhammad's gene . It's a well written book for an intelligent person who wishes to
be informed.
The main idea or it can be called an argument that Armstrong put forth was to break the wrong
image of the west about the Holy Prophet. She starts describing Muhammad's rising success as a
skilled and respected politician; Armstrong mentions that the Christian world has always judged this
part of the prophet's life with distrust. The Western view has traditionally seen Muhammad's
political success as proof that he was an impostor using religion as a means to power. To explain this
attitude, Armstrong offers the following insight:
"Because the Christian world is dominated by the image of the crucified Jesus, who said that his
kingdom was not of this world, we tend to see failure and humiliation as the hallmark of a religious
leader. We do not expect our spiritual heroes to achieve a dazzling success in mundane terms." (p.
164)
Armstrong depicts Muhammad (saw) in glowing colors, even when she admits his wrongdoings. In
the 8th chapter, "Holy War", Armstrong recounts the massacre and summary executions of the

One question about Muhammad's leadership that some people take for granted is, "Was Muhammad

situations where it would just be practical to have both Muhammad as a "spiritual leader" or adviser,
as well as a "leader" in charge of making the big decisions for the group. For instance, we discussed

The Life Of Prophet Muhammad
Amine Lehachi
Islamic History 1100
Mrs. Jorati
September 20th, 2015 The Life of Prophet Muhammad
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH–Peace be upon him) is the messenger of God in Islam. He was
born in the city of Makkah (Mecca) in the Arabian Peninsula around 570 CE. Many historians
believe he became an orphan at a very early age. The Arabian Peninsula at the time had no law or
order; people were described as savages for their ill customs and traditions. People of Arabia
worshipped idols and ancient Arabian religions; some were also Christian and Jewish. When it came
to religion people were divided in the region, people were divided into tribes and had different sets
of beliefs. Prophet Muhammad set to change this, he wanted to unify the region and establish an
independent nation. Before he started his Prophecy he married an older woman, a widow named
Khadijah, for whom he had worked for in the caravan trade. When he was a merchant, he was
known as al–Amin, the trusted one. When Prophet Muhammad was forty years old, he had a
profound experience that really changed his life. In this essay I will evaluate the significant events
of his career starting with The First revelation; The migration to Medina and lastly the great Battle
of Badr. These significant events play an important role on how the foundation of a newly reformed
monotheistic religion called Islam came to be.
A significant event that really changed the course of his life was when Prophet Muhammad was 40
years old.

Prophet Muhammad Research Paper
Muhammad is widely believed by the Muslims community to be a messenger and prophet of God;
most Muslims view him as the last prophet of God as taught by the Quran (Valentine 134). Muslims
thus consider him the renovator of an unaffected and unique monotheistic faith of Adam, Noah,
Abraham, Moses, and other prophets (Peters 9). The prophet as he was called had a social life, as a
leader he had both followers and those who opposed him and all them viewed him differently.
Muhammad was born in Mecca around the year 570 (Conrad). Orphaned before the age of six, the
prophet became orphaned. Under the guard of his uncle Abu Talib, and began working as a
merchant and also known for his honesty (Conrad). The story of how the prophet received his divine
revelations is a fascinating one. According to Denffer, at the age of forty, Muhammad started to have
dreams and hearing voices. In his search to understand, he would sometimes go down in the cave of
Hira, near Mecca to pray. On one of these occasions, the Archangel Gabriel (Jibra'il in Arabic)
showed himself to him and taught him how to read and the read "in the name of [your] lord" This
was the beginning of many revelations that became the foundation of the Qur'an, the holy book of
Islam. These initial revelations revealed the subsistence of one God, contrary to the belief hold by

Essay Muhammad, by Michael Cook
The book Muhammad, by Michael Cook, describes the impact Muhammad has had on the world as
we know it. It explains why Muhammad chose the paths he did, and how certain laws came about.
Cook offers a very objective view of the laws and policies Muhammad outlined in the Koran, and
the traditions that are carried on that supplement his written law.
The author first summarizes the historical life of Muhammad. This begins with his birth and life
before he was given his mission. Next comes his struggle to spread his religion. Since the days of
Abraham, people had fallen back to worshipping many Gods. Muhammad's task was to restore
monotheism that Abraham had established. To do this, he had to move to Medina for protection.

If this is a once in a lifetime deal, shouldn't they spend more time at God's house? I disagree with the
author on this point, because every part of the Hajj is sacred to a Muslim, and should be exercised in
order to celebrate the tradition.
The Koran places restrictions on one's diet, especially dealing with how which meats one can eat.
The Koran tends to illustrate which foods are forbidden rather than those that one is allowed to eat.
The only animal that there is an outright ban on is the pig. As for animals that are permitted, it
specifies the ways that this meat may become forbidden. These ways include eating meat that is
already dead, or meat fro an animal that has been strangled to death. The author goes on to quibble
with other ways that a meat may or may not be forbidden; asking if hares, shellfish and lizards are
acceptable foods. Some things need to be left up to common sense. As described, the Koran does a
good job laying the ground rules for this area, and certain things any levelheaded person can figure
out for themselves.
Muhammad set rules that restricted women, and Cook takes a critical view of these policies. Women
were only entitled to half the inheritance that men are, polygamy and concubines were allowed, and
women were easily divorced. It is true that these notions are absurd in the present day, but it was
common practice in the days Muhammad lived in. In many ways, the Koran took steps to ensure
that woman had certain minimal

Differences Between Jesus And Muhammad
Jesus Christ and Muhammad – the prophets, that preached god's laws to the people. Each of them
had an aim to show the truth to the whole humanity. Both of these personalities play significant roles
in Islam and Christianity: their sermons influenced people's minds, their commandments were
observed as laws, the amazing acts they had done were known by almost every single human. The
aim of this essay is to figure out how did Jesus and Muhammad find their claims, clearly define the
differences in the personalities, ideas and creeds of the sages and give the view on each thinker,
based on the religions they preached. By arguments I will show that Muhammad and Jesus had
absolutely different views on many questions.

In contrast Ten Commandments of Christ taught people to love and peace ("Christianity", Linda

words, he tried to teach empirically, not theoretically. Jesus showed to the humanity the sense of

views on what should be done to the enemies. Christ taught to forgive everybody without noticing

Muhammad: A Prophet and Statesman Essay
Muhammad's main role was that of a prophet. Discuss
On the surface Muhammad is usually considered to be a prophet and messenger of God, but when
looking closer we can see that He played many more roles in His life time including one of a
Statesman. After 'The Year of Sorrow' in which both Muhammad's uncle– Abu Talib and wife–
Kadijah died Muhammad is warned by the angel Gabriel that the situation is getting too dangerous
for him in Mecca. "Muhammad knew the faith must find expression in a community which would
insure its external force and the opportunity to prevail against opposition" (Cragg). It is at this point
that Muhammad is invited to become a leader in Medina (622ce).

Muhammad stopped them and said why don't you put the rock onto a piece of cloth as then you can
all take a corner to place it into the Karba together.
When Muhammad arrives in Medina He is invited by many of the people from all of the different
tribes to stay with them. Muhammad has to think quickly and make a decision that is not to upset
anyone, or divide the tribes any further. His decision is to let his favourite camel roam freely across
the land and wait until he stops to graze, that shall be where He stays. The camel chooses a small
patch of land alone. This decision shows signs of a great Statesman. Another Statesmanship choice
was that He had to find a way to integrate the Meccans who had followed Muhammad with the
Medinans. He came up with the idea that each Medinan family should take a Meccan, feed, cloth
and look after them etc and in return they should help with the work of the family. This idea
eliminated any segregation between the two as they quickly became friendly and there were also no
hungry or homeless people.
Another way to unite the Jews and the Arabs and to bring loyalty and peace between the tribes was
to write a constitution. This idea also showed great signs of good statesmanship. The constitution
read that all people are equal–both Jew and Arab, that all must promise to fight as monotheists and
that all have the right to justice. Because of these smart and intelligent ideas Muhammad quickly

The early history of Islam begins with the life of Prophet Mohammad. Muhammad's life is one of
the most interesting topics in the history of humanity and has been covered on several fronts of
analysis. Because Mohammed is one of the most influential figures in the world, his life and
thoughts have been debated for centuries and have generated numerous clashes between his
supporters and opponents. Muslims believe that he was the last and final Messenger of God that was
sent to humanity. He was sent to complete the mission of the previous Messengers of calling people
to believe in God and follow the guidance and teachings of God (Edgar p. 181–185).
The life of Muhammad began in the deserts of Arabia in the sixth century. The Prophet Muhammad
was born in Mecca in the year 570 of the Christian era. Muhammad never lied. His people were
witness of his loyalty; not even in his enemies accused him of having spoken a lie in his life. He
spoke politely, and he never used obscene language and his personality and manners were charming.

As a prophet, Muhammad called the people to the divine teachings of Islam. He encouraged them to
worship one God and defend a morally upright life. Muhammad never considered himself above the
law imposing the faithful. Mohammad was a revolutionary, fighting for freedom. His mission was to
free humanity from worshipping false idols, to free the poor from the stranglehold of the rich and to
free people from the oppression imposed on them by priests and the so–called "holy men" of false
religions. Prophet Mohammad passed away at the age of 63, leaving behind a message and a legacy
that has survived to our day. The Muslim nation at his death covered all of the Arabian Peninsula. As
a reformer, it suffices to say that Muhammad is the founder of one of the largest religions in the

Muhammad was once someone that was ignored and shamed upon, but is now known as the founder
of Islam and the vast empire of Arabia. Throughout his life, Muhammad persevered through many
family and religious challenges, even when many people fought against his new religion.
In 570 CE, Muhammad was born into the Hashim clan in Makkah and was sent to live with a nomad
family in the desert by his widowed mother. Then, Muhammad was sent back to the city of Makkah,
where his mother soon died and he became an orphan. Soon, Muhammad's grandfather, a respected
leader of the Hashim clan named Abd al–Muttalib cared for him. Later on, the grandfather died and
his uncle Abu Talib, a merchant and the new leader of the Hashim clan, cared for Muhammad. With
his uncle at the age of 12, he went on a trading journey to Syria. When Muhammad became an adult,
he became a trader and successfully ran caravans, leading to his marriage with a woman named
Khadijah.
One day, Muhammad (who was very spiritual) went to the mountains and prayed in a cave at around
610 CE. As stated in the Qur'an, an angel named Gabriel told Muhammad that he was the prophet of

Although people in the Hashim clan were starving and Khadijah and Abu Talib passed away, the

have tried to affect or change the world has been through bringing in a new religion into the world to
change and affect the minds of people globally. Even though countless people have tried to create or
bring a new religion in the world, only a handful were successful in actually selling their religion

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah and the Seal of
the Prophets. Indeed, Allah knows about all things." (Quran 33:40)
Who is Muhammad? As mentioned in the Quran in chapter 33, sura Al–Ahzab verse 40, Muhammad
is the final messenger of Allah to spread and teach Islam. He was also mentioned as the seal of the
prophets which marks the end of all prophets. Muhammad was born in Mecca, western Arabia in the

of Quraysh (Donner, 2007).
Although Prophet Muhammad was illiterate as mentioned in chapter 7, sura Al–A'raf verse 157, he
was still chosen by Allah to preach about Islam as he was honest, trustworthy, generous, truthful,
and sincere:
"(Who are the ones to whom my mercy will extend? It is for) those (Jews and Christians) who
follow the Messenger, the unschooled Prophet, whom they will find mentioned in their own
(scriptures) – in the Torah and the Gospel – for he will command them to do what is recognized (as
right) and forbid them from doing what is unfamiliar (to god's good way of life). (The Messenger of
Allah) will allow them (to partake of) what is pure and forbid them from what is unclean..." (Quran
7:157).

The prophet Muhammad was born in the year 570, in the town of Mecca, in Western Arabia.
Officially named Abū al–Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al–Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim, the
prophet once urged his followers to "say what is true, even though it may be bitter and displeasing to
others." It is with this notion that Muhammad lived his life doing what he believed to be right, and
preaching what he believed to be true, regardless of the obstacles he faced along the way.
Muhammad was insurmountably influential in spreading the Islamic religion throughout Arabia, and
it was because of his passion for his teachings that the religion has flourished, spreading across the
world on a universal level.
Muhammad's name is derived from Arabic, meaning "to praise or, to glorify", and that is exactly
what he did for Allah and the Islam religion. A group of elders once asked Muhammad's grandfather
why they chose to name the boy Muḥammad, "a name not found among their ancestors"...He
responded, "I desired for him to be praised (maḥmūd) by God in heaven and by God's people on
earth." Months before his birth, Muhammad's father died, leaving him to be raised by his mother.
But, in accordance with Meccan traditions, the boy was put in the care of a nurse named "Halima,
from the nomadic tribe of the Sa'd ibn Bakr". Muhammad grew up in the hills of western Arabia,

"O Children of Israel! Surely, I am the messenger of Allah to you, verifying that which is before me
of the Torah and giving the good news of a Messenger who will come after me whose name will be
Ahmed" (Qur 'an, 61:6). This was the prophetic announcement of the coming of the Prophet
Muhammad by Jesus Christ. Muhammad was able achieve this status as a prominent leader through
his ability to unify the Arab nation while in political power and also as a religious leader, led the
nation of Islam to the knowledge of the one true God. Muhammad sallallahu ^alayhi wa salam was
one of the most prominent leaders in the Islamic nation, not only in a religious aspect but also on a

Muhammad had become the most powerful leader in Arabia. Many tribes began to destroy the idols
in Ka'bah (place of worship) and they began to declare Islam as the true religion. As different tribes
joined Islam, Muhammad sent teachers to go and teach the various tribes about the new religion.
Many others wanted to hear from The Prophet himself so they traveled to Medina (Kikim). When
the yearly pilgrimage to Mecca came around and people heard that The Prophet would be going to
Mecca; they all went to Medina to meet him there. From there, the Prophet led all of the pilgrims in
a prayer, and after the prayer, they headed to Mecca following him. This was the first time that
pilgrims following Muhammad were all worshipping Allah, The One True God. Throughout the
pilgrimage to Mecca, the pilgrims said a prayer taught to them by The Prophet. As they got to
Mecca and went towards Mount Mercy, The Prophet led the people in prayer and spoke to them for
the last time. In 632 C.E, Muhammad became very ill and could not go to the mosque and pray with
the followers that had gathered, but he overheard them praying with passion. This made him happy,
and after looking at the people, he laid down in agony and died. (Fiero, 233)
Even after his death, Muhammad was held on high esteem due to the fact that he was not only able
to start a new religion but also able to unite the Arab nation. He was able to uphold this prominent
status as a great leader due to his virtue. Some of

The Life of Prophet Muhammad
In Islamic history, no single person has influenced the culture and life choices more than the prophet
Muhammad. The early unity and creation of the Muslim faith is primarily an action of Muḥammad
ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al–Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim. Muhammadis considered the prophet of the the
Muslim faith and responsible for establishing the religion. The Prophet Muhammad was born in 570
CE. He is the child of Abdullah and his young wife Amina. He was born in the city of Mecca in the
Arabian Peninsula and was a member of the Banu Hashim family. The Banu Hashim family were
very well respected in Mecca and had great influence and prestige around the Arabian Peninsula
region. The Prophet Muhammad's family was a clan in the Quraysh tribe. The Quraysh tribe
controlled many trading routes in the city of Mecca. Because of the powerful merchant influence
that the Quraysh tribe possessed, the Banu Hashim family grew to become very wealthy and
powerful politically in the city of Mecca. The Prophet Muhammad's father, Abdullah, unfortunately
died before his wife Amina gave birth to Muhammad during an mercantile expedition to Syria.
Amina also died while Muhammad was the age of six. This caused the Prophet Muhammad to be
taken in by his grandfather Abd al–Muttalib. Unfortunately, while Muhammad was at the age of
eight, his grandfather Abd al–Muttalib died. The Prophet Muhammad was later orphaned and taken

Master Fard Muhammad is Allah in person. His father knew of a message that had to be delivered to

Some may say that Master Fard Muhammad can't be God because his mother is white, but that is

possession and was not fond of the idea. He wondered if he had this revelation because this is what
his piety(reverence for God) had led him, where meditation took a man, or his reward for fasting
and praying. Muhammad sat in the cave and began having thoughts of suicide. An angel, Archangel
Gabriel took over his vision, Muhammad staggered back into the cave and asked his wife to protect
him. His wife Khadijah left the cave and asked her spiritual advisor after Muhammad had fallen
asleep, later she returned to the cave and said that Muhammad was a prophet of God. This is known
as his second birth into the world of spirit. For the next two years Muhammad had no revelations, he
went through that possession of the spirit as he likes to call it and than it just left him. He went into
depression and he felt forsaken. Muhammad's a second revelation than followed, it is named
'daylight'. It was not as frightening as the first

Prophet Muhammad Research Paper
Although Muhammad was a orphan he was the one to start the religion Islam that millions of people
still follow. He was called to prophethood and rejected but still persevered and started an empire that
lasted for a long time.
Muhammad's father died before Muhammad was born in Makkah around 570 C.E. When he was 5
or 6 his mom died and he became an orphan. Muhammad worked for Khadijah who had a trade
business. When Muhammad was 25 he married Khadijah.
One day Muhammad went to a cave to pray, there he was called to be a prophet of God whom the
Arabs call Allah. That same night he met Gabriel who told him to recite some words and later said
that he was the messenger of God. When the religion grew his followers wrote down his teachings
in a book called a qur'an.
Around 613 C.E Muhammad taught people to share wealth, give women rights, and respect
everyone. But rich people and merchants were afraid of losing power so they rejected the religion.
Other clans boycott Muhammad's clan and persecuted his weaker followers. The boycott didn't stop
Muhammad from believing and spreading the religion, but Abu Talib and Khadija died in the
process. That same year Muhammad reported about a night journey where he went to Jerusalem and
prayed with earlier prophets and even ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Muhammad taught his followers to respect Christian and Jews because like Muslims these people of
the book believed in one God. In 624 Makkah battled Muhammad's army, Muhammad won. Few
years later Makkah made siege on Madinah, but it failed. In 628 Makkah and Madinah made a truce,
in 630 Makkah broke the truce Muhammad's army went to Makkah but Makkah surrendered before
any fighting broke out. Muhammad's army destroyed all the idols in the Ka'ba. The people of the
book were Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Muhammad made a final sermon at the town of his birth,
Makkah and reminded his followers to respect everyone, shortly after, he

The Theory Of The Prophet Muhammad
Introduction
In exploring the questions of how certain ethicist would respond if they had the choice of stealing
food to give to a starving child, it 's important to draw from a thorough and broad spectrum of
philosophers in order to explore the experiment fully. In trying to obtain the broadest set of
hypothetical opinions we 'll look at the reasoning of al–Ghazâlî from the medieval period, Immanuel
Kant from the modern period, and finally Confucius an ancient ethical philosopher. By spanning the
different centuries, cultures, and ethics of these great minds, we find three totally different
approaches to answering that question. al–Ghazâlî The first ethicist chosen for this analysis is al–
Ghazâlî, who as considered a divine command ethics. al–Ghazâlî 's reasoning derived from not
focusing on consequences on earth but what consequences one 's actions would lead to in the
afterlife. He believed that everyone should emulate the teaches of the Prophet Muhammad as a
model of behavior. Another interesting aspect of al–Ghazâlî 's ethics where that a person shouldn 't
try to avoid the less than desirable facets of human nature but to work on controlling them (Griffel,
2016).
Faced with the prospect of stealing food to give to a starving child, al–Ghazâlî would most likely
agree that this was okay. Not only is it a well known fact that part of the Muslim faith requires those
able to feed the hungry, but it is the fact that he held such close regard for the Prophet Muhammad 's

Muhammad's Role As Prophet And Messenger

  • 1. Who Is Muhammad Ali In Heaven Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is now in heaven despite his Islamic faith, Martin Luther King, Jr.'s niece Alveda King said. In a write–up published by Christian Newswire, Alveda King talked about the eternal fate of the late legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, who succumbed to Parkinson's disease on June 3 at the age of 74. The evangelist said she believes she will see the world's greatest boxer in heaven. "Some may question my prayer that I'll see Mr. Ali in Heaven. Yet God is ever merciful and judges the human heart," said King in the letter. "Mr. Ali is subject to the same grace and mercy that all humans seek." King also defended the boxer's decision to convert to Islam and change his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali. She said it was partly ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 3. The Muhammad Is The Messenger Of God All faithful Muslims are called to pray in Cairo. The song on the video is the call that sounds five times a day every day in cities across the world. Nearly a quarter of the people on earth respond to it with the enduring spirit of Islam. The video states that in the Islam religion, Mohammed is the Messenger of God. The Islamic civilization has been one of the humanity's grandest achievements, a worldwide power founded simply on faith, a spiritual revolution that would shape the nations of three continents, and launch an Empire. For the West, much of the history of Islam has been obscured behind a veil of fear and misunderstanding. It was Muslim scholars who retained the wisdom of the Greeks while Europe languished in the dark ages. It was Muslims who sowed the seeds of the Renaissance 600 years before the birth of Leonardo Da Vinci. From the way they heal the sick to the numerals they use for counting, cultures across the globe have been shaped by the Islamic civilization. However, all this began with an ordinary man and the profound message he proclaimed would change the world forever. His name was Mohammed. To Muslims, the life of Muhammad is a story revealed. Muhammad was born in or around 570 AD in the sun blasted Arabian Peninsula, a land of scarcity whose tribes were always in a state of war. While still an infant, Muhammad's parents gave him his first tasteful of life in the dessert. Muhammad was from a town named Mecca, but he was sent off to live with the better ... • 5. The Muhammad As A Prophet The aim of this essay is to determine whether it is right to regard Muhammad as a prophet or a statesman or both of the following. The Oxford English Dictionary defines a prophet as someone who speaks or is regarded as speaking, for or in the name of God or a God. The special function of revealing or predicting the future is often regarded as an essential element of the work of a prophet. As per the definition states, a prophet is someone who brings the message of God or a God. Muhammad received his first revelations in the year 610 when he was around the age of forty. Years before the revelations, he established a habit of withdrawing himself to go to the mountains outside of Mecca to pray in peace and solitude. During one of these retreats Muhammad began having unusual experiences, hearing voices and having visions indicating that God had chosen him as his prophet. The angel Gabriel appeared in one of his visions giving him his first revelation that was a passage from the Quran. The first revelations stated that there is only one God who on the day of judgement will weigh every man's performance of moral and religious acts and decide whether he is deserving of eternal bliss in heaven or eternal punishment in hell. This is one such element in the revelations he received that predicts an important future event, which also is one of the characteristics of a prophet. At first Muhammad had difficulties coming to terms with his role as a prophet and accepting his fate and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Muhammad 's Influence On Islam In the year wchih followed the Revelation, Muhammad began his public preaching. The first converts include his wife – Khadija, cousin – Ali, other people closely related to him, and eventually more people from his own clan of Hashim. At first there was no sign of opposition against Muhammad's teaching, but as it become more widespread in Mecca, people start seeing it as a threat to the city's stability. Muhammad's message about a single, all–powerful deity negates the legitimacy of the haram and its idols, puting the holy and neutral status of the site at risk. This theological clash continued to put pressure on Muhammad and his followers. However, they receive protection because of the solidity of the clan system. It had been Abu Talib, Muhammad's uncle, who united the Hashim in support of Muhammad and protected him for his Meccan opposition. In 619, both Khadija and Abu Thalib, two of Muhammad's most important protecters passed away and his opposition became even more bold and determined to pressure Muhammad. It is important to remember that the previous early success of the spread of Islam in Mecca could only be achieved because of Muhammad's allegience and close relationship with these two important Meccan figures. In other words, Muhammad's kinship paved the way for his teachings to be disemminated within the Meccan society. As Meccans become more hostile towards Muhammad, he began to look outside his native city for support. At this crucial point, Muhammad was ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Characteristics Of Prophet Muhammad SAW Prophet Muhammad Presentation Noor Mohamed 12/29/17 Assalamualaikum, my name is Noor Mohamed and I will be talking about the greatest creation of Allah, Prophet Muhammad SAW. And this is not just coming out of my mouth. Allah told Prophet Muhammad SAW "You are not only my greatest prophet, You are not only my greatest messenger, But you O'Muhammad are the greatest creation I have ever created." Also when Allah mentions the other prophets in the Quran, he just said the Prophet's names. But when Allah mentions Prophet Muhammad's name SAW, he sometimes says " ‫رسول‬ ‫"محمد‬ which means Muhammad SAW is the Messenger. In Surat Al –Fath, verse 29 it says ‫رسول‬ ‫محمد‬. One day there was a big bang in Madinah. A rock hit from the sky. This was in the middle of the night and for the people living there, this was scary because they never heard of big bangs. But Prophet Muhammad SAW being the brave man that he is, went riding on a horse without a saddle to see what had happened. He came back and told the people that everything was ok. Prophet Muhammad SAW was VERY trustworthy. One day people from his village went to his house to kill him (because they hated his message). When they entered his home to kill him, they found Prophet Muhammad SAW cousin, Ali RA. Prophet Muhammad SAW left Ali RA when he escaped for one reason and one reason only. To give those people their valuables and money back. • 16. The Quran And The Prophet Muhammad It all began around the time period of 650 AD when the Quran was written. The prophet Muhammad wrote the Quran from direct wordings of God. In the Quran the prophet Muhammad helps guide the Muslims to have a righteous life and to follow his path. Within this sacred book, it also brings different testimonial disputes which lead to discrete views. I believe the Quran is a sacred book that helps guide the Muslims to the righteous path by illustrating a relationship between the Abrahamic religions, how the Quran portray the Jews and Christians, and the important connections between the Abrahamic religions. These are the key points that one will understand by the in depth process of analyzing the Quran document. There is a relationship between Islam, Judaism, and Christianity when it comes to certain aspects in each religious practice. On the other hand, there are also relationships between two of the religions and not all. These Abrahamic religions believe in a god, "God is All–mighty, the Avenger" , the Abrahamic religions believe that God is the true all mighty, the creator of heaven and earth. In addition, they believe that God can see every little thing that's going on, "Nothing on Earth or in Heaven is hidden Him" . The similarity that the Abrahamic religions have is the idea of believing in one God, making them all a monotheistic religion. "We worship no one but God and do not associate [any god] with Him, and we do not take each other as lords instead of God" . This shows ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Prophet Muhammad Of The Islamic Faith A person whose character has played a major role in history and continues to influence people worldwide is the Prophet Muhammad, the last prophet in the Islamic faith. There are many misconceptions about Muhammad, but if you were to ask any Muslim living now or at his time for one fact about him, they would tell you that he was a man of character. Even before given revelation from God through Angel Gabriel, Muhammad was known through Mecca as the Truthful and the Trustworthy. He was born an orphan and was brought up by family relatives. Muhammad's character shows his endurance through the toughest of times. As Islam spread, more and more people converted simply because they were mesmerized by Muhammad's character. He didn't just preach the religion, he actually lived it. Three major characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad were that he was kind, loving, and patient. Muhammad was a known for his kindness, making him someone people could confide in and trust. One example of when the Prophet Muhammad demonstrated kindness was the story about his neighbor. There was once a woman who lived next door to Muhammad. This woman was cruel and would dump trash on his doorstep every day. The trash would cut and bruise his bare feet, but he never complained to her. One morning, there was no trash on Muhammad's doorstep. The Prophet became concerned and went next door. It's a well written book for an intelligent person who wishes to be informed. The main idea or it can be called an argument that Armstrong put forth was to break the wrong image of the west about the Holy Prophet. She starts describing Muhammad's rising success as a skilled and respected politician; Armstrong mentions that the Christian world has always judged this part of the prophet's life with distrust. The Western view has traditionally seen Muhammad's political success as proof that he was an impostor using religion as a means to power. To explain this attitude, Armstrong offers the following insight: "Because the Christian world is dominated by the image of the crucified Jesus, who said that his kingdom was not of this world, we tend to see failure and humiliation as the hallmark of a religious leader. We do not expect our spiritual heroes to achieve a dazzling success in mundane terms." (p. 164) Armstrong depicts Muhammad (saw) in glowing colors, even when she admits his wrongdoings. The Life Of Prophet Muhammad Amine Lehachi Islamic History 1100 Mrs. Jorati September 20th, 2015 The Life of Prophet Muhammad The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH–Peace be upon him) is the messenger of God in Islam. He was born in the city of Makkah (Mecca) in the Arabian Peninsula around 570 CE. Many historians believe he became an orphan at a very early age. The Arabian Peninsula at the time had no law or order; people were described as savages for their ill customs and traditions. People of Arabia worshipped idols and ancient Arabian religions; some were also Christian and Jewish. When it came to religion people were divided in the region, people were divided into tribes and had different sets of beliefs. Prophet Muhammad set to change this, he wanted to unify the region and establish an independent nation. Before he started his Prophecy he married an older woman, a widow named Khadijah, for whom he had worked for in the caravan trade. When he was a merchant, he was known as al–Amin, the trusted one. When Prophet Muhammad was forty years old, he had a profound experience that really changed his life. In this essay I will evaluate the significant events of his career starting with The First revelation; The migration to Medina and lastly the great Battle of Badr. These significant events play an important role on how the foundation of a newly reformed monotheistic religion called Islam came to be. • 34. Prophet Muhammad Research Paper Muhammad is widely believed by the Muslims community to be a messenger and prophet of God; most Muslims view him as the last prophet of God as taught by the Quran (Valentine 134). Muslims thus consider him the renovator of an unaffected and unique monotheistic faith of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and other prophets (Peters 9). The prophet as he was called had a social life, as a leader he had both followers and those who opposed him and all them viewed him differently. Muhammad was born in Mecca around the year 570 (Conrad). Orphaned before the age of six, the prophet became orphaned. Under the guard of his uncle Abu Talib, and began working as a merchant and also known for his honesty (Conrad). The story of how the prophet received his divine revelations is a fascinating one. According to Denffer, at the age of forty, Muhammad started to have dreams and hearing voices. In his search to understand, he would sometimes go down in the cave of Hira, near Mecca to pray. On one of these occasions, the Archangel Gabriel (Jibra'il in Arabic) showed himself to him and taught him how to read and the read "in the name of [your] lord" This was the beginning of many revelations that became the foundation of the Qur'an, the holy book of Islam. It explains why Muhammad chose the paths he did, and how certain laws came about. Cook offers a very objective view of the laws and policies Muhammad outlined in the Koran, and the traditions that are carried on that supplement his written law. The author first summarizes the historical life of Muhammad. This begins with his birth and life before he was given his mission. Next comes his struggle to spread his religion. I disagree with the author on this point, because every part of the Hajj is sacred to a Muslim, and should be exercised in order to celebrate the tradition. The Koran places restrictions on one's diet, especially dealing with how which meats one can eat. The Koran tends to illustrate which foods are forbidden rather than those that one is allowed to eat. The only animal that there is an outright ban on is the pig. As for animals that are permitted, it specifies the ways that this meat may become forbidden. These ways include eating meat that is already dead, or meat fro an animal that has been strangled to death. The author goes on to quibble with other ways that a meat may or may not be forbidden; asking if hares, shellfish and lizards are acceptable foods. Some things need to be left up to common sense. As described, the Koran does a good job laying the ground rules for this area, and certain things any levelheaded person can figure out for themselves. Muhammad set rules that restricted women, and Cook takes a critical view of these policies. Women were only entitled to half the inheritance that men are, polygamy and concubines were allowed, and women were easily divorced. It is true that these notions are absurd in the present day, but it was common practice in the days Muhammad lived in. In many ways, the Koran took steps to ensure that woman had certain minimal ... Muhammad has to think quickly and make a decision that is not to upset anyone, or divide the tribes any further. His decision is to let his favourite camel roam freely across the land and wait until he stops to graze, that shall be where He stays. The camel chooses a small patch of land alone. This decision shows signs of a great Statesman. Another Statesmanship choice was that He had to find a way to integrate the Meccans who had followed Muhammad with the Medinans. He came up with the idea that each Medinan family should take a Meccan, feed, cloth and look after them etc and in return they should help with the work of the family. This idea eliminated any segregation between the two as they quickly became friendly and there were also no hungry or homeless people. Another way to unite the Jews and the Arabs and to bring loyalty and peace between the tribes was to write a constitution. This idea also showed great signs of good statesmanship. • 55. The Prophet Muhammad, By Michele Thorpe The Prophet Muhammad By: Michele Thorpe History 104 Professor Odamtten November 17, 2014 The prophet Muhammad was born in the year 570, in the town of Mecca, in Western Arabia. Officially named Abū al–Qāsim Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al–Muṭṭalib ibn Hāshim, the prophet once urged his followers to "say what is true, even though it may be bitter and displeasing to others." It is with this notion that Muhammad lived his life doing what he believed to be right, and preaching what he believed to be true, regardless of the obstacles he faced along the way. A group of elders once asked Muhammad's grandfather why they chose to name the boy Muḥammad, "a name not found among their ancestors"...He responded, "I desired for him to be praised (maḥmūd) by God in heaven and by God's people on earth." Months before his birth, Muhammad's father died, leaving him to be raised by his mother. But, in accordance with Meccan traditions, the boy was put in the care of a nurse named "Halima, from the nomadic tribe of the Sa'd ibn Bakr".
