This document discusses the design of existing gaming magazines and insights that can be applied to a new magazine. It analyzes existing magazines that feature a single cover image focused on an upcoming game franchise along with subheadings. (pugs) which gives the reader a bit
of insight on the content of the
magazine.

is focusing its content on
one specific franchise. Its
design is comic book
looking and features a well
known super hero that has
been adapted into a new
video game series. The PUG
at the bottom gives a more
specific information on the
content.

This Magazine features only
one image which suggests
that this type of gaming
magazine focuses specifically
on one new release per
issue. This is also obvious as
the front page doesn’t give
any content information
either.

cover you can see that there is lots of content
covering a range of topics.

status as it’s a common form of
entertainment especially in modern youth
culture.
