The SWDI has two major components: (1) economic
sufficiency (employment, employable skills, income,
social security, and access to financial institutions),
which was used to measure the economic status, and
(2) social adequacy (health, education, housing, role
performance of family and family awareness) to
measures the social status of the program
beneficiaries.
4. The study assessed the socio-economic impact of the Sustainable
Livelihood Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development
(DSWD) on the program beneficiaries to enhance the implementation of the
program in the Province of Pangasinan.
Sub-problems:
1) The profile of the respondents in terms of a) Level of Well Being; b)
Size of Family; c) Program Track Availed; d) Type of Availment; e) Type
of Enterprise/Employment; and f) Enterprise/Employment Status.
2) Assessed their socio-economic status and significant difference of the
Sustainable Livelihood Program beneficiaries in the year 2015 and
after availment of the program in terms of two major component:
economic sufficiency (Employable Skills, Employment, Income, and
Social Security) and Social Adequacy (Health, Housing, Education,
Role Performance of Family, and Family Awareness of Relevant Social
Issues).

b) Social.
4) Based on its findings, a proposed innovative development program can be recommended to
further enhance the implementation of the Sustainable Livelihood Program in the Province of
Pangasinan.

16. The SLP beneficiaries are family resilience who believed in
the program with socio-economic impact. There is a various
economic sufficiency in the implementation of the Sustainable
Livelihood program between 2015 to 2019. The program's
size of the family, type of availment, and track availed
positively influenced their economic and social status. The
indicators show that the SLP beneficiaries' social status
peaked, except for family role performance. This indicator
affects the operation of their businesses, which is the ability
to discern problems inside the family.
