2. Process
I began my process by using my phone to
record my audio book beforehand I
created a script so it was a lot more
helpful when recording, once I had
recorded I was unsure if it would be over 2
minutes but I began editing to find out.
After I emailed it to my college email I
opened up premier pro and began a new
project and imported the recording.
Although it wasn’t 2 minutes I then looked
for sound effects therefore this will
increase the time. I found this process
quite simple so far because I have
experience from premier pro using it with
my other projects. Therefore it was a lot
easier and I enjoyed this part.
3. Process
• Next, I collected most of my sounds
on sound bible and YouTube for
background music. I downloaded
the sounds as a mp3 and saved
them into my file so they appear
when changing computers, I then
imported them and fitted the in-
between the sounds for this I mostly
used the erase tool to cut out any of
the recoding which I didn’t want in.
This part of the process was starting
to get a bit stressful because I had
to move my main audio and break
it apart to fit the audios in although
finding the sounds effects was
simple because in my other
PowerPoints I had sounds effects
saved to make it easier for me.
4. Process
• At this point of my process I had
been changing different
computers and the updated
premier pro wasn’t on some of
the laptops so it made it a lot
harder for me because some
sound effects hadn’t saved so I
had to re download them, this
took up a lot of my time and all
the sounds got mixed up so I
had to restart and add them all
in again this part of my process
was very stressful and I had lost
a lot of the work due to the
having to use blackboard for the
new premier pro and converting
my work into this didn’t work
out too well.
5. Process
• Within this process I had added all
the sounds effects and soon realised
my audio wasn’t over 2 minutes so I
had to add too my script in the
middle of it this made it a lot more
confusing and I recorded on my
phone and emailed it. Once I
imported it and tried to add it in I
was finding it difficult as everything
was messing up and it was all in the
wrong audio, therefore this was
when I opened up a new project and
imported it all again and this time it
was a lot better, when I listened to
it, I finished off editing and erasing
a lot to make sure it all was correct
and my storyline made sense.
6. Process
Overall, this is my final outcome of my audio book this turned
out exactly how I had it planned within my other PowerPoints
and I am proud of my editing because I added in different
fades in premier this made my audio sound a lot more
professional and it flowed better I also changed the volume of
each sound effects so my audio sound increased and the
backgrounds sounds decreased. I stuck to the same sound
effects and added in intro music therefore it was definitely
more realistic. With premier it isn’t my favourite aspect of
focusing on but I can now use it effectively and have learnt a
lot since I first used it. However next time when creating a
audio I want to try and put a lot of my time in the audio and
speak more formal towards my audience. As it was 2 minutes
and near 40 seconds to improve I would have wanted to extend
my storyline and added more to make it a bit more longer
because for some of my audience this could be quite difficult
too understand.
