The people that work there are very nice and they are people that I would want to spend time with

We landed in independence, MO. We took a little rest overnight and one of the Indians took our kid
Hamilton Weaver. We have not found him yet and I think that they are going to give up hope. He's

Water Pollution
Water is not only a way to hydrate, but is crucial to the basis of all life. Washington has many rivers
that run through the state, the most famous being the Columbia River that runs from
Canada through Washington, emptying into the Pacific Ocean. One major tributary of the
Columbia is the Spokane River. This river is one hundred and eleven miles long and is fed by
Lake Coeur d'Alene in Idaho. When a water source gets contaminated it can cause shifts in an
ecosystem. Recently, there have been advocates trying to improve the quality of water in the river.
Mining companies, such as Bunker Hill Mine, have dumped their waste from their factories into the
river. The high levels of toxins in the water led to laws being enforced to halt more pollutants from
entering the water. These pollutants have altered the ecosystem making the fish unhealthy to eat as
well as limiting recreation in the water.
The Spokane River is a treasure of eastern Washington. People have used the waters for recreation,
such as boating, rafting and fishing. Inhabitants that use the river depend on the waters to be clean
and clear, and currently is a stunning blue glass color. The waters have been polluted by industries
and their waste ("Understand My Waste"). In the 1970's Bunker Hill Mine used the water to dump

While the western United States was growing rapidly, the means on transportation across the great
plains was a very long and dangerous trek. With the growing desire for western settlements, the
Transcontinental Railroad would offer a much faster and safer means of travel to the western states.
The railroad would also be capable of carrying goods to and from the West.
There were some primary motives for the United States Government to promote and be so largely
involved with the building of the railroad. First, it was the age of Manifest Destiny, "a term coined
by journalist John O'Sullivan in 1845, was a driving force in 19th century America's western

couple of months. It was very unexpected. During the end of July, we went over there to visit him

two days to get there. We drove for ten hours the first day, stayed the night in Ontario and drove six

Hudson Bay Company established Fort Boise for the purpose of a fur trading location and as a

I was like a bird learning to fly. I didn't really know what I was doing but I tried my best. I presented
to the best of my abilities and hoped for the best. The day came to an end and that award ceremony
was about to start. I decided that I wouldn't be disappointed if I didn't place, and reasoned that I had
three years left in high school and would have a better chance of winning as a more experienced
upper classmen. Once again, I was using being a freshman as an excuse. Unexpectedly, I placed first

construction, and operation of the Jackpot Solar Annex, LLC –20 MWAC located at Township 14
South, Range 16 East, Section 19 B.M. Commissioner Davis a motion to approve the conditional
use permit with the following conditions:
All roads in the project are private and will not be maintained by Twin Falls Highway District.
Jackpot Solar Annex, LLC 20 MWAC projects will utilize the same approach from Highway 93, as
previously permitted.
Fencing will temporarily be allowed within the roadway easement areas. If a public road is
constructed in the future, all fencing shall be removed and re–installed outside of the public roadway
easement by, and at the expense of, the project owner.

Twin Falls Highway District has a 50–foot–wide roadway easement along all section lines within
Township 14 South, Range 60 East, Section 19, Boise Meridian. Structures shall be prohibited
within the roadway

While working in the different schools as a substitute teacher, I learned what schools had the highest
level of students with special needs in spelling, and math. These kids were taken out of class to work
with me on a one on one level helping to try and get them caught up in spelling, sounds and how to
read, as well as math. It was amazing to see kids that were in the second grade not knowing there
sounds or being able to add and subtract math correctly. They were in second grade on a first grade
reading/math levels. I also worked in schools that had the highest level of kids in reading and math.
Why such a split? The way the school are set up, you would actually think that the location of the
schools verses the issues within the school would be flipped. When substituting at the charter school
I found out that they have a higher than average poverty level at their school, where 73% of the
children in the school receive free lunches, which is up from 2013 at 65%. Our neighboring Twin
Falls county school district runs at a 55% with their charter school runs as low as 28% for free
