world's tallest flagpoles. 59 years ago, the Malayan Flag was hoisted which signified that the country was freed from the ruling of British. It is
important to have maintained the historical site well. This is to remind the younger generation on what had been going on in the past. It is for them to
realize the remarkable things that our leaders and our ancestors fought for us. Underneath the square is a complex called Plaza Putra. It is an
underground complex with food, leisure and entertainments. It is very convenient to tourists as they can easily get food and entertainments after
spending their day at Merdeka Square. During our visit to Merdeka Square, when we finally got to see what we have always learnt in the history
textbooks and experienced it besides watching it from the television programmes, it felt so surreal. We could totally imagine that enthusiasm that our
ancestors have when they finally got to free all of us from being under the ruling of

different nations. The Boeing 777 aircraft vanished without a distress call 94 minutes after taking off, while making a scheduled flight from Kuala

search in aviation history, spending $160 million spanning over 46,000–square miles of ocean. The cause of the disappearance was declared an
accident and the possible crash zone is believed to be somewhere in the Indian ocean, due to the findings of over 20 objects that have washed ashore
on beaches off the coastlines of Africa.

Essay On Ports And Terminal
3.3 Port and Terminal A port is defined as an area on both land and water, whether on the sea or river, that provides facilities for shipping vessels to
load and unload their cargo. This area, contained within 'port limits', will have been established over years of increasing or declining trade patterns
and therefore is defined as the 'human set limits'. There may be several harbors and/or terminals within the port limits. While a terminal is defined as a
single man–made facility that may have several berths, that handles vessels and possibly more than one type of vessel or cargo. The rapid growth of
international and local trade in Maritime sector underline the importance of ports and terminal in connecting the ship with the land to move the people
or cargo. Ports and terminal are recognized as vital contributors in facilitating Malaysia's trade. Since Malaysia is a nation surrounded by a sea area
much larger than its land mass, development towards ports and terminal is essential in providing an excellent infrastructures and facilities to traders.

port in Melaka becoming a focal point for both local and international trade. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

It has one nose landing gear leg and two main landing gear legs that are placed under the wing and retract into the fuselage. 1.1.1 Tricycle gear
layout The tricycle gear (figure 1.1) consists of one nose landing gear leg and two main landing gear legs. When using a tricycle gear, around 13%
of the total weight of the airplane acts down on the nose landing gear and 87% acts down on the main landing gear. The weight distribution depends
on the position of the center of gravity. The center of gravity on the A320 must be between 17% and 38, 5% on the Mean Aerodynamic Chord
(MAC). The location of the MAC can be calculated using the aircraft's dimensions . Figure 1.1 Airbus 320 Landing gear layout The advantage of the
tricycle gear is the stabilizing momentum during touchdown when the aircraft's longitudinal axis is not parallel to the runway. The drag created by the
two main gear wheels is parallel to the motion direction (figure 1.2). This means there is no momentum created however the drag that works on the
two main gear wheels to the side creates a negative momentum. This momentum turns the aircraft parallel to the runway again. Fig 1.2 Tricycle gear
Another advantage of the tricycle gear is that the aircraft is in a horizontal position when parked on the ground. Unlike the conventional landing gear
configuration which has a tail wheel instead of a nose wheel. With the tail wheel causes the airplane to stand in

Major Problems Of Urban Transport
3. Major problems of urban transport
Kuala Lumpur is not always considered as a "megacity" for its scale and population. However, its urban area and urban population density can be
compared to many metropolitans in the Global North. Being a motor–dominated city with high population density, rapid economy growth, and a rather
small scale, Kuala Lumpur is facing its own problems of urban transport. (1) Kuala Lumpur has one of the lowest public transport passenger amount
levels in Asia due to the rising ownerships and usage rate of private cars. The recently–launched Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2020 revealed that only
20 percent of total Kuala Lumpur passenger movements take place by public transport while 80 percent by private transport (Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2020, 2004). The public transportation has modern facilities, but with the poor system and low–quality service, therefore,
more and more people are shifting from public transport to private cars and motors. Although the local government made efforts to introduce rails as
public transport in the 1980s, expecting to slow down the speed of increasing motor vehicles, their popularity remained (Aldukali et al, 2011). The low
efficiency also contributes to the shift. The buses and metros always arrive late, consuming more time for passengers to travel from house to work,
which in turn further aggravates the low usage rate.
(2) The increasing car ownerships number causes the rising demand

Advantages Of Travel Alone
Sometimes, it's hard to coordinate your schedule with someone you want to go to a trip with especially on a very short notice. If you have time to
spend some vacation and you do not have time to look for a companion, it is best if you try to go alone rather than cancel a good opportunity for you
to travel.
If you want to do something but your friends and family is adamant to try such, do not let go of that thing without doing it. Try it for yourself still. It
is not their dream, it is yours. And so you need to do it for your own satisfaction before you scratch it from your bucket list.
Self–reflection and self–awareness are two of the best reasons why you should travel alone. There are a lot of best places to travel alone that will
help you reflect and know more about yourself. You might discover some things about you that will surprise you, or you may realize some bad things...

Sometimes, traveling with a group hinders you to make new friends with others considering that your time is focused on the group you are with.
However, if you are traveling alone, you will have plenty of time to look for more friends and be able to socialize more.
When traveling with someone, you need to consider their schedule too. And believe me, it's such a bummer. If you want to go and visit the Colossus
but your companion has already planned on meeting some friends on the area, you will be forced to stay with him/her. However, if you are traveling
alone, your time is clearly your own and you can go wherever you want to (as long as it's safe) and whenever you want.
Traveling alone will actually make you a better and more independent person. Being alone on a new place is a challenge you need to face. Once you
are able to surpass the challenge of asking for directions on people who can't understand straight English, or eating alone on a restaurant you are unsure
of, and other traveling stuffs will make you more prepared for the next

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Elasticity Of Demand
Question 1
NO.THEORIES/CONCEPTEXPLANATION
1Elasticity of demandElasticity of demand is a measure of the response of quantity demanded to a change in any economic variables. Tourist and
locals are less sensitive to the changes in price at Central Market due to the price of substitute goods. Hence, the demand is said to be fairly inelastic.
2Total VariableCostTotal variable cost is the overall expense related with producing or providing a service changes in direct proportion to the quantity
provided. For instance, although the Central Market building is a fixed cost, maintenance for the building such as cleaning requires labourers which add
to the costs. These additional costs are referred to as total variable costs.
3Internal Economies of ScaleWhen a firm expands its scale of production, the economies, which accrue to this firm, are known as internal economies.
Marketing, an internal economy in Central Market, is achieved by buying raw materials and also selling final goods. Since it purchases the items from
the small industries in bulk, Central Market can bargain on favourable terms to reduce its expenses.
4External Diseconomies of ScaleExternal diseconomies of scale are the disadvantages that arise due to over concentration and ... Show more content on

Build–then–sell (BTS) concept and adoption of the system had been discussed and debated a long time by various construction and properties related

and the owner can contribute some money from personal accounts.
One way which expansion can be financed is to use part of the profit earned from sales from the previous years to open a new branch. This can be
done by using half of the profit earned from sales earned every month. When owner have an idea to open a new branch, he or she can financed part of

The second way is to set up a booth. It can be in schools, shopping malls, festivals, carnivals, open days or other celebration days to earn more money

Review Of ' Degikup Basket By Louisa Keyser
Firstly, the craftwork that I would like to review is called Degikup Basket by Louisa Keyser. The artist was also known as Datsolalee who was a
Washoe Native American basket maker. Degikup Basket is basically a large basket that consist small flat base but wider in the middle and then
same diameter as base for the hole at the top. In other words, the craft produced is almost similar to a bird nest which has the concave side and
smaller top. Moreover, the craft work get the people attention after it has been documented by Keyser's sponsor who sees the art talent that she had.
Apart from that, the interesting part about the basket is it is created through a weaving process by hands which suggest that it is carefully
produced. It could be seen that the influence on the conception of this craftwork are based on Keyser's living place. The exterior of the craftwork is
likely to store a traditional value and symbolize her community custom. The simplicity portrayed by the design indicates its friendly function as it
serves either as a place to keep miscellaneous items or acts as a collection to the people. In addition, the craftwork also could be considered as unique
due to its abstract design. Since Keyser is from Washoe Indian tribe in Nevada, the materials she used to weave the basket are easily obtained in the
nature. The basket is constructed using three different things which are willow, Redbud and bracken fern root. The important material is the willow
because it is the

INTRODUCTION OF 7–ELEVEN
7– Eleven was founded by J.C. Thompson in the year 1927. Previously it was known as the Southland Ice Company in Dallas, Texas. It was started
as an ice vendor and later the company began to offer milk, eggs and bread on Sundays and evenings when the grocery stores are closed. The new
business idea produced by them satisfied the customers and also increased the sales. This idea triggered them to establish their business to the modern
convenience retail concept.
The company's first convenience outlets were known as Tote'm stores and in the year 1946, it became 7–Eleven to indicate the store's new extended
hours which is from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. and also operating seven days a week. The company's corporate name was changed from The Southland
Corporation to 7–Eleven Inc. in 1999. Now, including with its global licensees, franchisees and partners in 16 countries, 7–Eleven operates over 50,000

In 2006, Malaysian Travels Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of a public listed company, purchased 40% equity in Turkistan Global Services Sdn

In 20017–2008, the world suffers one of the most disastrous global economic crises in history. ASEAN, reeling from the financial crisis, suffered a
little over a decade ago, did not escape this global phenomenon. Bolstered by numerous agreements such as the Vientiane Action Programme (VAP) in

framework among member states to maintain compliance in trade agreements, these efforts did not insulate the group from the global financial crisis.
In spite of the ASEAN's effort to ward off the effects of the crisis, ASEAN's important economic endeavors were shortfalls due to their delayed

And in the wake of the global financial turmoil, the ASEAN member countries took the form of significant monetary and fiscal stimulus to help the

Is Skip's Efforts To Detect To Locate A Person
Skip tracing is a bit of a misnomer, because it implies that someone has intentionally left town, but from our point of view, it refers to anybody who
has gone missing and needs to be located. There are many reasons you might want to locate someone, and it is usually worth the effort to do so.
There following are three reasons to find someone and how our private investigation firm can assist you. Debt collection This one of the most
common reasons to locate a person. They owe money, and they can no longer be found. Usually this means that their contact information, such as the
debtors phone number and address, is inaccurate. Often the situation is one where the debtor is ducking their financial obligations, and they believe
by changing their address and phone number, they can avoid a debt collector. However, our private investigation firm can locate people who think
they can hide from their financial obligations, and this is usually beneficial to a collection agency. Once the debtor is located, it is then possible to
bring the debtor to court for the purpose of wage garnishment or other methods of repayment of a loan or other debts.... Show more content on

Essay On Ports And Terminal 3.3 Port and Terminal A port is defined as an area on both land and water, whether on the sea or river, that provides facilities for shipping vessels to load and unload their cargo. This area, contained within 'port limits', will have been established over years of increasing or declining trade patterns and therefore is defined as the 'human set limits'. There may be several harbors and/or terminals within the port limits. While a terminal is defined as a single man–made facility that may have several berths, that handles vessels and possibly more than one type of vessel or cargo. The rapid growth of international and local trade in Maritime sector underline the importance of ports and terminal in connecting the ship with the land to move the people or cargo. Ports and terminal are recognized as vital contributors in facilitating Malaysia's trade. Since Malaysia is a nation surrounded by a sea area much larger than its land mass, development towards ports and terminal is essential in providing an excellent infrastructures and facilities to traders. 3.3.1 The evolution of ports in Malaysia The area now known as Peninsular Malaysia reached its era as a maritime power in the 15th century, with the port in Melaka becoming a focal point for both local and international trade. ... It has one nose landing gear leg and two main landing gear legs that are placed under the wing and retract into the fuselage. 1.1.1 Tricycle gear layout The tricycle gear (figure 1.1) consists of one nose landing gear leg and two main landing gear legs. When using a tricycle gear, around 13% of the total weight of the airplane acts down on the nose landing gear and 87% acts down on the main landing gear. The weight distribution depends on the position of the center of gravity. The center of gravity on the A320 must be between 17% and 38, 5% on the Mean Aerodynamic Chord (MAC). The location of the MAC can be calculated using the aircraft's dimensions . Figure 1.1 Airbus 320 Landing gear layout The advantage of the tricycle gear is the stabilizing momentum during touchdown when the aircraft's longitudinal axis is not parallel to the runway. The drag created by the two main gear wheels is parallel to the motion direction (figure 1.2). This means there is no momentum created however the drag that works on the two main gear wheels to the side creates a negative momentum. This momentum turns the aircraft parallel to the runway again. • 11. Major Problems Of Urban Transport 3. Major problems of urban transport Kuala Lumpur is not always considered as a "megacity" for its scale and population. However, its urban area and urban population density can be compared to many metropolitans in the Global North. Being a motor–dominated city with high population density, rapid economy growth, and a rather small scale, Kuala Lumpur is facing its own problems of urban transport. (1) Kuala Lumpur has one of the lowest public transport passenger amount levels in Asia due to the rising ownerships and usage rate of private cars. The recently–launched Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2020 revealed that only 20 percent of total Kuala Lumpur passenger movements take place by public transport while 80 percent by private transport (Kuala Lumpur City Hall. Kuala Lumpur Structure Plan 2020, 2004). The public transportation has modern facilities, but with the poor system and low–quality service, therefore, more and more people are shifting from public transport to private cars and motors. Although the local government made efforts to introduce rails as public transport in the 1980s, expecting to slow down the speed of increasing motor vehicles, their popularity remained (Aldukali et al, 2011). The low efficiency also contributes to the shift. The buses and metros always arrive late, consuming more time for passengers to travel from house to work, which in turn further aggravates the low usage rate. (2) The increasing car ownerships number causes the rising demand ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 14. Advantages And Disadvantages Of Elasticity Of Demand Question 1 NO.THEORIES/CONCEPTEXPLANATION 1Elasticity of demandElasticity of demand is a measure of the response of quantity demanded to a change in any economic variables. Tourist and locals are less sensitive to the changes in price at Central Market due to the price of substitute goods. Hence, the demand is said to be fairly inelastic. 2Total VariableCostTotal variable cost is the overall expense related with producing or providing a service changes in direct proportion to the quantity provided. For instance, although the Central Market building is a fixed cost, maintenance for the building such as cleaning requires labourers which add to the costs. Since it purchases the items from the small industries in bulk, Central Market can bargain on favourable terms to reduce its expenses. 4External Diseconomies of ScaleExternal diseconomies of scale are the disadvantages that arise due to over concentration and ...
