projects will be submitted to a committee for final approval. This form must be completed and
returned to your senior English teacher by Friday, August 17, 2012. You will not be allowed to
change your topic after October 12, 2012.
The Senior Project is subject to the plagiarism policies set forth by the district and Creekview High
School.
1) Describe the overall topic of your Senior Project.
Teaching and orchestrating a mock trial in Mr. Hubbard’s Level 2 Law and Justice Class.
2) What is your previous experience in this area of study?
I participated in a mock trial during my junior Year where I acted as the lead prosecuting attorney.
3) To what career will you connect this project (required)?
Attorney at law
4) Describe what you are proposing to do for your Product step-by-step and in detail. Write on the
back of this sheet if necessary.
 Lead all discussions
 Teach and elaborate on every role in a traditional criminal trial
 Assist students in understanding each role
 Assign students their roles to perform in the trial
 Supervise trial and ensure that all roles are played out correctly
5) How is this project a “learning stretch” and a challenge for you?
I believe that taking charge and controlling the progression of the trial will help strengthen my skills
in organizing, teaching, projecting, and implementing in preparation for my future career as an
attorney at law.
6) What are your estimated costs for completing the Product, and how will you fund these costs?

2. I don’t believe that I will have to pay anything to complete this project.
7) Who have you chosen (or are considering choosing) as your Project Facilitator?
I have chosen the Law and Justice teacher, Mr. Hubbard, to act as my facilitator for my senior project.
8) What is this person’s expertise in this field?
Mr. Hubbard is the current teacher who normally runs the mock trial that I am taking over.
