1) Describe the overall topic of your Senior Project.
 I will create an operational plan (blueprint) for the Creekview Classic Marching Competition.
2) What is your previous experience in this area of study?
 I have been involved in marching band for four years now. I have participated and watched
marching competitions. Also, I have been involved with helping in competitions and running
some events.
3) To what career will you connect this project (required)?
 This project can be connected to Business Administration. It will provide me some insight on
what it takes to run a profitable business.
4) Describe what you are proposing to do for your Product step-by-step and in detail. Write on the
back of this sheet if necessary.
 I am planning to create an operations manual for the Creekview Classic Marching
Competition. This will consist of all the multiple steps that are needed to complete the tasks.
This will aid future members and band boosters of the band on how to set up and run the
Creekview Classic. My product will be a binder containing all the information (step-by-step)
on how to establish the Creekview Classic. The binder will include the multiple steps that
need to be taken and a timeline. Also, I will figure out the budget that needs to be spent and
how much we are expecting to make in profit.
5) How is this project a “learning stretch” and a challenge for you?
 This project is a learning stretch because I will be creating a project plan complete with
timelines, budgets, physical setup, and responsibilities for specific tasks among other things.
6) What are your estimated costs for completing the Product, and how will you fund these costs?
 I do not know what the full costs will be. I do plan to pay for the costs myself when the time
comes.
7) Who have you chosen (or are considering choosing) as your Project Facilitator?
 I have chosen Stephen McCarthy to be my project facilitator. He is the band director at
Creekview High School.
8) What is this person’s expertise in this field?
 Mr. McCarthy has been involved with marching band for many years and has attended and
judged multiple competitions and will be the host of the Creekview Classic this year.
