Mallory Rosiek proposes hosting a 5K run/walk to raise money for the boys and girls middle school cross country teams. She will map out and clean the course at Woodland High School, get medals made for top runners, advertise through fliers and social media, mark the course on race day, register participants, distribute medals after the race, and donate the proceeds. This project will help Mallory with her goal of becoming an event planner by challenging her to stressfully plan and ensure everything runs smoothly. The estimated $150-200 budget will come from her own money and sponsors. Lance Marvel, an experienced cross country coach and race host, will serve as her facilitator.

She will schedule tutoring sessions individually and help the students study subjects like science that she is familiar with from her own education. Her product will be demonstrated by showing an increase in the students' test scores and overall grades in the class from August to March. She expects her costs to be $10-20 and will use her facilitator, Mrs. Shugart, who is an experienced teacher, for guidance in tutoring effectively.
