2. Interpreting
the brief
• This project entails collaborating with skilled degree
level bands to make a promotional music video. This
will be closely working with said band working on ideas
and thinking of ideas that would fit their type of genre
and gravitate more people to their songs. Talking about
the audience it is important to consider the target
audience of this promotional video, so a round about
age of 16 to 21 as that age range is more likely to want
to listen to a younger type of music compared to a man
or women In there 40s. To increase a gain in interest to
this new band me and the group would need to think
about advertising using things such as posters and a
website going over the details of the band, who there
are what is their type of music. Finally, to keep the
attention of the listener, an upbeat sound and video
with unique editing like transitions to make it pop.
