Scavenger Hunt
I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt because it was a fun assisgnment to start the class off with. It also was
very beneficial because I learned where a lot of helpful tools were located. Im glad I did this assignment
because it will help me with future classes.
My Next Move Career Assignment
This assignment was super interesting for me! I had never heard of a Holland code and finding out which
one I had was cool! I also liked it because it showed me some careers to consider.
Discussion 1: Introduction and Type Focus
These discussion was one of my favorites because just like in the next move career assignment I learned
about some jobs that I would be good at! I also got to learn why I would be good at them. To me type
focus is an amazing thing that all incoming college students should do.
3. Favorite Journals
Journal Entry 29
This journal was defintley my favorite cause I was able to dive deep and get in touch with my emotions. It
showed me how much power words can have. This assignment made me think hard about what each
emotion entails.
Journal Entry 23
I liked this journal because I was able to get in touch with my inner guide. It taught me how to expand
my answers to questions that I ask myself. Also, it made me think about how to get the hard part of my
life back on course.
Journal Entry 33
This journals was fun because I got to see how I have improved over the last few weeks. I was very proud
of myself for improving in almost every area of the self assessment. It was nice to know that I learned
valuable stuff to take with me to my next classes.
4. Favorite Week
My favorite week was Week 4 because it focused mainly of finding what is not good in your life
and working to fix it. It taught me how to take charge of the outcomes of the situations I put
myself in. I also liked talking about stress in the discussion board sine that is a problem I have. It
was nice knowing I'm not the only one and that stress totally fixable if you think about things a
different way!

7. Next Move Career Assignment
My Holland Code was IAS (Interactive 32, Artistic 27, Social 23). The careers that interested me
were recreational therapist, and broadcast news analyst.
I was more interested in the recreational therapist field and learned that they make an average of
$46,000 a year, they need to have at least a four year degree, they can work in a wide variety of
institutions, and some of the skills they need to possess are good communication skills, people
skills, the ability to listen well, and noticing problems and knowing the best way to fix them.
