2. 3 FAVORITE ASSIGNMENTS
• Self-Assessment
• Doing the self assessment at the beginning and end of this course really was very enlightening. It
allowed me to see to the areas I was lacking in so that I could do work harder in those places. And then I
got to see how much I have grown and learned since taking this course.
• Metacognition
• Before taking this course I had no clue what metacognition was. Metacognition is being aware of your
own thoughts and how to learn the best. It was really cool going through the process of learning how to
consciously understand my thoughts.
• Stress
• The video and discussion board about stress was probably the one I understood the most. It helped me
out the most to because it explained how stress can affect us as much as it does. For someone who is
stressed 99% of the time watching that video helped me prioritize the things stressing me out and see
which ones are not current real problems but rather ones I had created in my own head.
3. FAVORITE JOURNAL
• Visualize the accomplishment of one of your goals.
• Support system
• Explore your emotions and recognize them as they are happening
4. WHICH WEEK I LIKED THE MOST
• My favorite week was probably week 4. I really enjoyed doing the chapter 8 journal
it was my favorite of all the ones we have done. Getting to experience my emotions
over and over and seeing how I can control them or how other things affect them
was really eye opening. Also the video over stress was pretty rad. I was not aware
that stress could affect so much in our bodies or mental health. But now that I know
all that I can work on keeping my stress level down about 7 notches and that should
seriously help! Lol
5. 3 LESSONS I WILL CARRY WITH ME
• Lesson number 1- study study study!! I don’t mean just reading or skimming
through my books. I mean setting time aside to sit in a quite place with nothing but
my school work and books. No Netflix or friends or facebook. Study the right way so
that I can truly comprehend the material.
• Lesson number 2- when I start feeling like I am drifting away from my work and life
goals I should look in at myself towards my inner critic and inner guide to get me
back on track.
• Lesson number 3- do all my work! Even when I don’t think it is necessary or essential
I still need to make it a point to complete all of my work and not slack. No
procrastinating or putting other things above it if I want to succeed.

__38____ __55____
6. Adopting lifelong learning
__40____ __59____
7. Developing emotional intelligence.
___58___ ___66___ 8. Believing in myself
• When I first took this assessment I was actually
a lot more confident about how well I was
going to do in this class and college itself. But I
quickly learned I just had a very big head.
These assessments showed me the areas I
needed to work most in and that’s exactly what
I have been doing. I have improved in my
weakest places areas like lifelong learning and
believing in myself and mastering self
management. I learned most importantly that
in order to succeed I have to be honest with
myself and stay set on achieving my goals.

8. I chose these pictures because they represent everything I want in life. I
want to have my own big family like my mother and step father in the
family photo. I want to graduation college with my mom beside me as my
biggest supporter. And I want to be the best nurse I could ever possibly
be just like my mother though I could not find a picture of her in her
uniform.
