This document summarizes a study that analyzes the dynamic behavior of regular and irregular reinforced concrete frames with different types of steel bracing systems and mega bracings using ETABS software. 14 models of a 13-story building located in seismic zone IV were analyzed, including models with X, V, K, and diagonal bracings as well as mega braced models. The results were compared in terms of lateral displacement, story drift, and base shear. It was found that structures with bracing systems performed better than unbraced structures, with X bracing providing the most improvement in reducing lateral displacement, story drift, and base shear.
