 Children are passed a pencil until 
the student who sit in the middle 
says “STOP”.

Who has got the pencil?

Something that he or she like or dislike 
 If the child guesses, he or she sit in 
the circle. 
 If the child don’t guess, he or she 
will have to continue in the middle.

PROFILE OF STUDENTS  It’s a mixed school.  The girls develop earlier than boys.  Both sexes is the same level of learning.  The school have 298 students.  There are around 50 students per level.  We organize the classes in alphabetical order. •We try that the brethren are in the same class. •There are around 50 students per level. •We organize the classes in alphabetical order.

SURVEY TO THE PARENTS  To know more information about our students we send a letter to their parents with a small questionary about what their child like to do or what is their level in English or if they use it at home.  1ª What is your native language and your has your child the same?  2ª Do you have any second language? Do you think is important have it?  3ª Do you know any second language and do you talk it at home?

SURVEY TO THE PARENTS  4ª What is the favourite subject of your child?  5ª What is the relevance of English in your life?  6ª Have you ever been in a foreign country?  7ª Which are the expectations that you have of this school´s year?  8ª Have your child ever had any difficulty with a foreign language?  9ª What does he or she like to doy when they are not at home or at school?  10ª When your son or daughter get home, they do homework or you need to command them?
  • 9. HOW TO KNOW OUR STUDENTS IN CLASS?  Game for 4º of Primary School  Objetives (why?)  Organization:  The students sit in a circle  One student sit in the middle Working the structures of sentences Get to know our students
  • 10. HOW TO KNOW OUR STUDENTS IN CLASS? How to play? Finally…  Children are passed a pencil until the student who sit in the middle says “STOP”.  One chil ask: Who has got the pencil?  Other child say: Something that he or she like or dislike  If the child guesses, he or she sit in the circle.  If the child don’t guess, he or she will have to continue in the middle. I like football!! She is!
