Our school is a public center that depends of Xunta de Galicia. All our means are
provided by the Consellería de Educación.
This school is situated in the city center. It’s in the middle of the monumental area of
Pontevedra, near to the school is the Peregrina’s church. Around the corner is the
hospital and a nursery schooling. This is very convenient if you have younger children.
Also there are near a parking, a supermarket and a lot of shops.
Our socio-economic level is medium but we accept all students want to study here in
spite of their socio-economic level or ethnic because we want offer an equality
education for all the children that live near to the school. In our school coexist several
ethnic groups: a South African, Chinese and Arabic.
We offer a lot of activities for the students at we hope the parents can participate to
integrate the families of children in the education. Also we want that our students are
in contact with the environment to achieve a good education.

of learning.
Nowadays our school have 298 students spread across by different levels. We have
two classes of each course in all levels because there are around 50 students per level.
We organize the classes in alphabetical order. Also when we have brethren we try
that they are in the same class .

4. How to know our students in class?
We have designed an activity for 4º of primary for working the structures of sentences,
both affirmative and interrogative, and get to know our students. The game consists of
the following:
First, the students sit in a circle, except one, that he or she will sit in the middle
voluntarily or chosen by the teacher.
Then, children are passed a pencil each other until the student who sits in the middle
says “Stop”. Next, the same child will ask “Who has got the pencil?” and, in this
moment, the student that have the pencil, will have to change the tone of voice and
tell something that he or she like or dislike, and the child that is in the middle has to
guess who is.
Finally, if the student guesses it, the child who had the pencil should sit in the middle.
If student don’t guess it, will have to continue in the middle until to guess who has the
pencil.
