This document announces an online action song contest for Eco Kids clubs to spread an environmental message. It provides rules for the contest: videos must be 1.5-2.5 minutes featuring the club's Eco Kids; entries are due August 31st and will be judged on content, clarity, and expression. Cash prizes and certificates will be awarded to winners, and participation prizes given to all entrants. Selected videos will be shared on social media to promote saving Mother Earth. An entry form is included.

AN ONLINE ACTION SONG CONTEST ON ANY
ENVIRONMENT THEME FOR SCC ECO KIDS CLUBS:
SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF
FEW SIMPLE RULES
1] Each Eco Kids group will prepare a short video of action song on any environment theme.
2] The duration of the video should be between one and half to two and half minutes (90 to 150 seconds).
3] You are free to take the help of anyone, including online resources, but participated only by your Eco
Kids, preferably all eco kids.
4] During the August month official Eco Kids meeting (2nd
Sunday), you will discuss the ideas for the action
song with your eco kids and start practices.
5] To fine tune the action song, you may have to have a few more practices on mutually decided dates.
6] Finally, you will video shoot the action song with your mobile/camera and send the final version to me on
my WhatsApp. (For video shooting you can use any venue, including our church premises or even terrace
garden. Please inform beforehand if you need church premises/terrace garden).
7] The last date to send your video is 31st
August 2016.
8] A team of seminarians from Goregaon seminary (Bro. Allen and team) will judge the videos and declare
the winners. Criteria will be content/message, clarity, action/expressions etc.
9] The cash prizes and certificates for the winners will be as follows
10] As a gesture of appreciation for their participation other groups will receive consolation prizes as
above, besides 20 project points for monthly project will be added to all the ECO KIDS groups who
participate in the contest (refer the feedback form).
11] The selected video (videos) will be circulated in the social media (whatsapp, facebook etc) so that
SAVE MOTHER EARTH message reaches to as many people as possible.
