1. Mise en scene
In my movie the setting is of a big city, the establishing shot portrays that it’s a night scene, and
the area is very posh. The reason why I tried to portray this is to show that my character,
Landon Miller lives in a big posh area of the city.
My character is dressed very casually yet very classy, especially with that hairstyle. This shows
that my character is from a wealthy background and has a sense of style.

2. The location where all the main scenes took place were in a house. I used this location and low
key lighting to show that it’s a night scene and to create that tensed look in the scene. My
genre is action suspense/thriller, and mostly these film’s are shot outside but since it was too
main stream I decided to start inside a house.
In the last scene, since it required a suspense and isolated look, I decided to shoot this out side
the house but I deliberately shot this as late as 3AM just to get that isolated and shadowy look.
The unknown character’s (Kidnapper’s) were dressed very casually but in tight clothes, I used
this to achieve a muscular look for them.
