Job Description


My customer is a 10.5 Billion Dollar retail company with 8,400 stores in 35 states.

Are you a seasoned HR professional experienced in talent management processes? My
customer is seeking a Sr. Manager of Field Human Resources who will be a strategic partner for
the Division management team. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with all
levels of the organization, developing succession plans, and leading the implementation of
talent management processes in a field environment. This position is field based and can reside
anywhere within the division, which covers the states of VT, NY, PA, NJ, DE, Eastern MD, KY, IN,
OH, and MI.
Qualifications
    •      Knowledge of overall HR functions to include recruiting, employee relations, training and
           development
    •      Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws
    •      Ability to mediate between employees during conflict resolution
    •      Ability to achieve measurable results through collaboration and influence
    •      Exceptional planning, coordination, project management and implementation skills
    •      Advanced ability to communicate with employees at all levels (both verbal and written
           communication skills)
    •      Strong presentation skills
  • Travel for this position is extensive
Work Experience
    •      Minimum 5 years experience: 5-7 years in HR Function, with a concentration on
           Employee Relations and Succession/Talent Management is required, preferably in retail
           industry.
    •      Bachelors degree is required
    •      Proven track record
    •      PHR or SPHR preferred
