1. Audience feedback short thriller film questionnaire
I askedthisquestionbecause ittellsme the type of age for
the audience thathas answeredmyquestionnaire and
enjoysthrillerfilms.Itwouldalsohelpme know whatage
grouplikedwhatfrommy shortthrillerfilmthatwas
shownto themtoo.From myresultsI can see the most
popularaudience wasaged35-60 showingthatmainlythe
olderadultswatchedthe film.
Askingwhatgenderyouare helpsme know whatthe most
commongenderforviewing mythrillerfilmisandlike the
lastquestioncanhelpme findoutif there isa difference
inwhat eachgenderpreferredfromthisshortfilm.From
my resultsof askingthisquestionIcansee that itwas the
male genderthatviewedthisfilmmore.
By askingthisquestionIwouldgatherinformationonhow
enthusiasticthe vieweriswithfilms,whichcanletme
know the differencebetweensomeone whomaynotbe so
enthusiasticaboutfilmsassomeone whois.Fromthese
resultsIcan see that 60% of those whodidanswerthis
questionnaire watcheslessthan2 filmsaweekandmay
enjoyfilmslessthanthe other40% that watch at least3-4
filmsaweek.
I thought of asking this question as it would help me
know if the short thriller film will. Be too complicated
for people to understand or maybe too easy of a story
to decode for the audience making it a less interesting
thriller filmthan I would hope for. But by these results
I see that most people did manage to understand this
story and be able to decode it. Although, one person
out of the ten that completed this question did find it
difficult to decode, this makes me think of what I
could have done to make it a little bit easier to
understand.
2. Thisquestionshowsme how simple itwasforpeople tospot
the maincharacter of thisshortthrillerfilm.Fromthese
resultsIcan see that mostpeople didfinditrathereasywitha
little bitof difficulty,butthismayhave made the filmmore
interestingif theyhadtothinka bit to findoutwhois the
maincharacter. However,one persondidfinditratherhardto
findoutwho the maincharacter is,thismakesme thinkthat it
may have beenthe same personwhofounditdifficultto
understandthe storyline fromthe questionabove andmakes
me thinkwhatI shouldhave done tomake itmore obvious
whothe main character iswithoutmakingittooobviousso
theydon’thave to thinkandmakestheminteractlesswith
the short film.
By askingthisquestionIcan gatherinformationshowingme
whatpeoplesfavouriteaspectof thisfilmwere outof the
listshowninthe question,Iaskedthemtopicktheirtwo
favourite.These resultsshow me whatIdidwell onduring
the productionof thismediaproduct,howeverthere isan
evendistributionof votesforthe bestaspectof thisfilm
tellingthatdifferentpeoplehaddifferentopinionsabout
thisfilmandwhat theymayhave likedfrom‘Artifice’.
Although,the ‘soundtrack’and‘script’didgetthe most
votesandshowsme that I didwell inthe scriptand choice
of musicforthisshort thrillerfilm,andmakesme thinkthat
nexttime Iwill workharderon the otheraspectson this list
and whatI shouldhave done tomake themmore
favourable andwhytheyweren’tasgoodas the scriptand
soundtrack.
Thisis a vague and simple questionforthe people
answeringthisquestionnaire andIaskedthistoget an
overall answerabouthow thisshortthrillerfilmwasand
whetheritwasan overall goodthrillerfilmornot.But from
these resultsI can see that40% are votedfora 3/5 and
another40% votedfora 4/5, showingme thatmostpeople
thoughtiswas a good filmbutthere couldbe
improvementsmade tomake there answerahighermark.
Although20% thoughtthe filmwas5/5 and was a good
short thrillerfilmshowingme thatwhatthe mediaproduct
I have createdisa goodshort thrillerfilm.
