Setting
The setting of this game is in the tropics also known as themeditation this is where
the game is set the reason being is to give the pirate theme affect for this game.The
game is set here because pirates sailed in the water looking for treasure and a
sanctuary or safe haven from the royal fleet that own the waters and want to
exterminate all of the pirates.
I think in the beginning of the sequence the
sounds used are adventurous and exciting as the
game plays I think that the sounds used are very
echoed and explosive because of the way the
drums beat and the cannon shells crash and
explode as they hit the ships whilst the waves
crash past them in the background.
Mood
The mood of the first cut sequence is calm to begin with but as the story carries on
it becomes more intense and aggressive this is because the pirates are in the middle
of a sea battle with the kings royal fleet and pirates are putting up a big fight so the
game feels more aggressive and at the same time aggressive.
The sounds used to set the moods are very
mellow at the same time as being exciting this is
to prepare you for the battle you are about to
face against the British fleet it also gets you
excited for the upcoming battle you are about to
face.

The game is an action thrilled adventure in which you adventure out across vast
lands scape with a tropical twist this gives you the feeling that you are lost and
looking for your way back home it also makes you want to play the game longer and
find out more as you play on in the game.
The overall sounds used to set the game genre are
exciting and with a steady beat this shows that a
battle is about to begin and it shows that the
mood of your character is calm as if he is used to
going to battle so it doesn’t bother him for some

Narrative
During the opening cut sequence it starts with a pirate who is in the middle of a
battle at sea which he wins but his ships gets blown up and he gets washed up onto
an island with an assassin who attacks him so he ends up killing the assassin and
then steels his clothing to ensure that he can get a wealthy sum of money for
completing some task for the person who his is working for.
The sounds used in the overall narrative is a
steady beat with the occurring louder beat this is
to make the players feel more intense and ready
for whatever they are about to face in battle land
or sea this is to get some background noise whilst
the player is playing and its used to set the mood
of the game.
