Setting
This cut scene is set in an outland estate area which is a warzone. The area is very
dangerous as gunfire and explosions are taking place. This is a battle between Russia
and the USA. But the country in which this cut scene takes place is the USA.
Mood
The mood from this cut scene gives the feeling of sadness and even the feel of
betrayal as the captain of you ends up siding with the enemy team and he then
shoots you and your friend. Also the feeling of anger is also comes from this scene.
The music is computer generated but it sounds like a violin given advancements
from the computer. The soundtrack basically portrays the betrayal and implies the
sadness of what your character would feel as he has just got shot. Also the gunshots
make the location feel unsafe and the explosions show how bad he area was being
attacked.
I believe that people who were involved in the
creation of the Game have recorded the gunshots
and explosions used from real life wars and
worked on them through a computer. Also, I
believe that they have created their own gunshot
noises through a computer generated source. I
think they did this to make the setting of this cut
scene sound immense and dangerous.
The soundtrack and different sounds used give
the mood of betrayal and sombre. To create tis
mood I believe that the violin remixed on a
computer source is the cause as it gives off depth
of sadness.
Game genre
The game is based on many different teams of the army e.g. The Navy Seals;
basically fighting a huge war as Russia have caused a huge issue by taking liberties
into their own arms and causing trouble.
This soundtrack portrays the game genre as war is
always seen as bad. Therefore, the violin implies
the sadness and betrayal as many countries fight
and kill each other

Narrative
A Sargent named Shepard betrays 2 of his fellow soldiers as he sticks them up as
part of a plan to get a certain device. During this you can hear another captain
named Captain Price shouting down the headset “do not trust Shepard”. However,
it is to late as he has shot both of them.
The soundtrack once again portrays that this war
is horrific as betrayal of fellow soldiers and killings
of innocent people has grew.
