This document discusses the use of technology in education, including topics like blogging, infographics, BYOD (bring your own device), and using social media and other online tools. It emphasizes that technology should be used in the classroom in engaging, meaningful, and relevant ways to promote learning and prepare students for the future, but also requires teacher training and ensuring respectful usage by both teachers and students.
9. Education provides a quality of life to those who are
fortunate enough to have the privilege of attaining one,
not merely by advancing financially, but emotionally,
academically, socially, and spiritually. I believe education
is a lifelong experience, found not only in books and
institutions, but by embracing and exploring the world in
which we live. This is achieved in part by actively seeking
and optimizing the experiences to learn as they happen,
or as they are guided. I believe that education provides
the opportunity for people to achieve goals that they may
have thought they would never be capable of achieving.
Every day, education instils lasting life lessons, friendships,
knowledge, self confidence, goals, dreams, and so much
more into people’s lives.
