The computer lab rules instruct students to operate equipment properly, report any problems, log out and clean up their area before leaving. Printing and saving files is restricted, and computer settings should not be changed. Eating, drinking and gum are banned, and internet use is limited to school assignments. Students are told to focus on their own screens without disturbing others, and use class time productively to complete assignments on time.

2. Come to class ready to learn!

3. Operate the equipment properly and give care to all components (headphones, mouse, etc…) Report problems immediately.

4. Make sure you close all windows, log out and push in your chair when you leave.

5. Print ONLY with permission.

6. Use only the computer you are assigned to. Do not save to the hard drive (C:) of your computer. Always save to your personal drive (P:)

7. The desktop picture, screensavers and other settings on your computer should be left alone.

8. Eating and drinking are NOT allowed at your computer. NO CANDY OR GUM!!

9. Remember to be safe on the Internet Don’t access non-school email NO DOWNLOADS

10. Learning is a technology priority. Keep your eyes on your screen and don’t bother people sitting around you. They are trying to get their work done!

11. Always use your computer class time wisely. Getting assignments/projects done on time will greatly effect your grade!
