Students are only allowed in the computer lab with teacher authorization and must follow various rules: scan storage devices for viruses before use, report any system problems to teachers, do not attempt repairs, be responsible with equipment and software, do not move equipment or install unauthorized software, save work to external devices and not internal storage, no food or drinks in the lab, shut down computers and power supplies properly, use the internet only for education, log all computer use, and keep the lab clean and tidy.

4. • Student are prohibited to enter the laboratory unless authorized by
the teacher

5. • Scan disketttes or Flash Drive
before using them.

6. • Report all problems related to the system to the teacher/computer
laboratory facilitator.

7. • Do not attempt to repair with lab equipment

8. • Be responsible when using equipment, software and
facilities in the lab.

9. • Do not move any equipment from its original position.

10. • Do not remove or load any software into the computer.

11. • Do not change the setting in the computer.

12. • Save all work in external storage device and
not in the computer.

13. • Do not bring in bags, food and drinks into the lab.

14. • Turn off the computer accordingly after use.
• Switch off all power supplies before leaving the laboratory.

15. • Internet facility is strictly for educational purpose only.

16. • All users should record the use of computer in the computer log
book.

17. • The Laboratory should be kept clean and tidy at all times.
