Question 5
How did you attract/address your target audience?
 The audienceresearch we did before westarted the filming
was research to do with the age rangein our film. Wechose the
age rangeand research filmsfrom the chosen institution, which
was universal, weresearch the typesof films that had been
recently released by that institution.
 Wedecided on an age rating for our age range, which is 15
rating. This meansthat we had to research if there was a gap in
the institution. Which turnsoutthat universalhas only one
release of a horror film so that means that there is a space for
our film in our chosen institution.
 Weused this information to produce our finalproductby
taking into consideration conventionsof the target audience’s
preferencesand the conventionsof the other horror films.
 Wemade a survey to do with horror filmsand what people
preferred on horror films, we emailed this survey from our
college emails and copied a link from survey monkey.
