2. Theme Ideas
• Black – I aim to use a black theme on my poster. This colour
will be the background of the image, with the actors being
in the middle of the poster. They background will be
accompanied by a small smoke effect on the lower of the
poster.
• Phone text – A subtle phone text will be utilized throughout
the trailer. There will probably be 2 or 3 of these
throughout to indicate a mysterious and following person.
• Flowery/scenery – the first opening seconds of the trailer
will show lots of scenery, in particular colorful and vibrant
flowers and places to denote happiness. As the trailer
continues, this will slightly change further until happiness is
escalated to sadness/anger.

3. • Mystery – there will be a continuous mysterious
theme going on throughout the trailer. This
denotes a sinister tone and creates suspense.
• Synergy – to create social media synergy I will use
a hash tag under my social media icons so that
viewers can interact with the trailers social media
sites. To create a synergy between both the
magazine and poster, I will use hash tags on both
products to increase the promotion of the soap
opera product and therefore brand identity.

4. Conclusion
• In order to create the product of my soap
opera poster I will need to take images of the
stars want to place on the poster so they are
high quality. I will then use Photoshop to edit
them and adds specialist affects. I will use a
bold and large font to create brand identity
and also increase recognisability.
