ONE This music video is a narrative based music video as
it portrays a story, the story is of a man cheating on
his wife and the hurt his wife goes through while
he’s away. The lyrics to the song link with the video
which allows the audience to understand the story
however everyone interprets meanings differently
so it may have multiple meanings. The majority of
the shots are slowed down which fits with the slow
beat of the song as well as the emotional story it is
playing along too.

3. PERFORMANCE : ARCTIC MONKEY- I BET THAT
YOU LOOK GOOD ON THE DANCEFLOOR
This music video is a performance based video as it
features the band simply performing their song to the
camera. This is conventional for rock bands as it allows
them to portray the song how they want to without it
merely telling a story. The camera shots range
throughout the video showing all members of the band
rather than only the singer as well as lighting appearing
like it was a concert.

4. CONCEPT : OK GO- UPSIDE DOWN & INSIDE

This music video is a concept based video on the idea
of gravity. This video was filmed while a plane was
falling which ultimately allowed them defy gravity and
float in the air, this is stated at the beginning of the
video which already entices an audience to watch it.
The whole video links with the title of the song
‘upside down & inside out’ as throughout they are
upside down and objects are inside out.
OK GO are known for creating concept based video
which makes them a unique band.
