2. First Step
To begin with we uploaded our
unedited video of our green
screen test onto Adobe After
Affects so we could edit it. Once
we did this we had to use
keying to eliminate the green
from our video. To this we went
to keying then to colour key and
dragged this to our video. We
then selected green as the
colour we wanted to get rid of
and dragged the slider until
there was as much black as
possible without blacking out
the person in the shot. We
repeated this several times until
all of the green was gone.
3. Second Step
Once the background is completely
blacked out we can insert out
background. For our video we chose
the great wall of China, to do this we
downloaded a picture of the great
wall of china and dragged it onto our
project. We then inserted it beneath
our video to make it the background.
4. Third Step
We then put our edited video onto
Premier so we could adjust when
the background appears, we
meshed the two videos together so
that as I finish saying “this is a
green screen test” the background
appears. Once we added a title and
some transitional effects we have
our completed product.
