3. Throughout the planning process, blogger was used to upload
all our planning work allowing other members of the group to
see what work we have completed.
It also allowed teachers to look at our blogs and mark the work
which they had set for us to do.
It was used throughout various different stages of the
coursework including planning, construction and also the
evaluation.
4. Blogger allowed us to
upload pictures and
videos of music
videos which we had
analysed during the
planning process.
This was helpful as it
allowed group
members to look at
what I had done and
see what ideas they
could come up with
Our teacher was able to comment on our
posts after they had marked them
leaving us feedback on what could be
improved.
With the work being done electronically
on the blog, this was easy as all we had
to do is add to it, or delete something
and change it.

6. To carry out audience research to see hear what our audience thought of the
ideas we had, we used survey monkey to create a survey which we were able
to put onto our blog as well as send to people whom we wanted to complete
it.
It allowed us to create our
own questions and it
collected the results for us
and put them into graphs
as shown in the screenshot
on the right.
You are given a wide range
different types of
quantitative and qualitative
questions.
7.
8. YouTube allowed us
to upload our videos
onto our channel
which meant we
could embed them
into our posts on
blogger.
It also meant our
friends and family
would be able to see
the work we have
done by going onto
our YouTube channel
which includes our
rough cut, animatic
and Brighton location
RECCIE work.
10. To edit our music video, I used Adobe Premier Elements 9.0. One of the key stages I had to do
on this programme was sequencing which included reviewing all of the footage and putting it
on to the timeline in the correct order.
With the different lines of action, I had to make sure that it made
sense and that the lip syncing was also in sync with the song. So I
had to carefully insert the performance so that it was in the right
place with the song.
Our final video was in black and white, but this was not just a
filter placed over the top. I made my own preset by adjusting
the contrast, brightness and saturation of the shot so which
looked better than the standard black and white filter. This
particular idea challenged conventions of music videos, this is
because usually the past would be in black and white meaning
that this element of our video was very much unconventional.

12. We used Photoshop to create the print work for
our music video which included a magazine
advert for the album as well as a 4 pane digipak.
Using Photoshop, we created our own
Rudimental logo which appears on all of their
new albums as well as adverts for tracks which is
the bold writing in a box which can be seen on
the magazine advert
We used the background eraser tool
to delete the sky and add in a
different one as the one in the shot
was too dull. This was also done on
the rear pane to make the sky have a
red tint to it which we tried to
incorporate into our magazine
advert.
