25. Research Evaluation
• Give an overview of how you conducted your research.
Discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each method
– Product Research
• Using existing products was good because it helped get ideas for my product. Also
let me see what was out there and could kind of steal ideas and manipulate what
other people have done and use them as my own.
– Questionnaires
• Got information from the audience, to get information about what they like and
what would work well. As in what types of films people like to watch and how often
people use there devices (phones/laptops).
– Interviews
• Got information in a different way by asking people questions and finding out weather
they would like my idea and weather or not they would watch it. Also finding out if they
understand my idea.
26. Research Evaluation
– What sort of a response did you get?
I got a good response witch helped me see what the audience wants to see and what
would work well. So that I could improve my work and ideas to make the project the
best I could.
– How did you distribute your survey? Give an advantage and a disadvantage
I posted a link to my survey monkey on Facebook and got my Facebook friends to fill it
in witch worked well because I got a lot of response. Witch gave me a good idea of
what my friends would like to see as in the types of movies people like to watch, if
people feel like people are watching them through there webcam and if they didn’t
feel like it I could try and make them through the film by making them think about it.
A disadvantage there wasn’t as much females to do it as there was male. Another
disadvantage is that there was only teenagers so it wasn’t a broad selection as in more
adults instead of just been teens. An advantage of digitally evaluating is Its better for
teen as you can just upload it on to the internet and once it is submitted everything is
in one place and easy to work though a disadvantage of this is if the files get corrupt
then everything is lost and cant get it back. An advantage of doing it on paper is the
files can’t get corrupt a disadvantage of this is there is a lot more clutter for paper.
