Teachers: Bogdan Daniela Hortensia, Braşov Adelina Ileana, Brăileanu Adriana, Rădulescu Rodica.
School: “Carmen Sylva” Art College- Ploieşti, Romania.
When we arrived in Cyprus, we were very impressed by the local views, hot and dry climate. People
are warm, nice, communicative, and full of joy. The meetings who took place in Dimotiko Scholeio Daliou 2,
were very productive since we achieved some knowledge about ITC (GIMP, h5p, Aurasma), some
explanations were given to our colleagues, how to apply music and visual art for the projects lessons, through
some applications. Lesson plans analysis were made and improved. Project budget analysis and multiplying
event were made and planned.
Besides that, in our relaxing moments, we were very surprised to realize that we have common roots
in traditional music between Cyprus and Romania (Dobrogea, region of Romania- 5/8; 9/8 irregular compound
time signature). We have met a lot of Romanian kids who are integrated in Dimotiko Scholeio Daliou2
education system.
Our guests offered us many unforgettable moments, leading us to the most important cultural objectives
of Cyprus, such as: St. Lazarus Church; Ancient Idalion Museum; Ancient Kourion Archeological Site; Kolossi
Castle; Thalassa Museum; Old city of Nicosia starting from the Paphos to Famagusta gate. Thank you, Cyprus!
Thank you Dimotiko Scholeio Daliou 2!
