I am sitting on the chair eating away those lovely scrumptious tasting roast potatoes, mushy peas and the Yorkshire puddings. Christmas was especially

There is a strong case to be made that Gallipoli has over the past hundred years, overshadowed the real stage on which the war was fought – the
Western Front. This does a great injustice to the many thousands of Australians who fought and died there. It is time to set the record straight– not to
diminish Gallipoli – but to raise the Western Front campaign to the same degree of significance in the Australian psyche and its historic records.
Many Australians today would point to the 1915 Gallipoli campaign as the single most defining moment in Australia 's history.
Before 1915 at the outbreak of the First World War Australia was widely considered as just a colony of the British Empire. The heroism, courage
and 'mateship' portrayed by the ANZACS at Gallipoli has since become a symbol of nationhood of Australia. From this time other countries
respected Australian soldiers as a 'force to be reckoned with'/ Politicians have frequently referred to what it means to be Australian was 'written in

They are the ones who risked their lives, their careers, and their families so that others could experience what it truly means to be an American.
Military men used to be the "talk of the town," everyone wanted to know them and claim them in their lives, but nowadays people want to discard the
disgruntled figures that come back from the hardships of war. The men and affects of war on them did not change, people's tolerance for them did. No
one wants to deal the mentally unstable or disabled used to be war heroes. They want the bright and shining young men who stood for their country, but
these two types of men are the same. The old and forgotten used to be the bright and shining, and they should be treated as such. They deserve the valor
and honor that surrounded them when they shipped off to still be there when they finally come home.
Caring for the Veteran's when they come home begins with the military itself; these are there men coming home and it needs to stay as such. I believe
in a motto of once a soldier, always a soldier, and that the military is something that should always be there for its members. When injured or outdated
servicemen come home from their final assignment, they receive honorable discharge. There should be no "discharge" however; there should only be

Faer As A Fox
Faer is a fox. He is a lonely young fox. Well he is some what lonely he does have one friend. One that he considers dear to him and that loves with
all his heart. His friend is someone we all know. The Moon. He enjoys talking to the her it keeps him happy. He even gave her a name. Luna. Luna
Faer talks to Luna every night before cuddling up in his den and falling asleep. Luna can't talk back but Faer knew that he and Luna understood each
other. The were both alone and only had one another. One night, Faer as usual went to his special place to meet with Luna. A fallen tree in the
middle of Windy Field. When he arrived there was no sign of his friend. He ran out as far as his eye could see, but didn't see her anywhere. After
searching, and searching, with worry growing more and more on his face only answer he can conclude is that his friend has been Kidnapped.
With worry Faer couldn't sleep. So he searched beyond his home. He was at the top of the mountain and saw a vegetable patch. He never went out
that far before, but for his Luna, he had to go. Faer headed toward the patch calling out toward Luna. Still no luck. Out of the blue out jumps rabbit
from the greens. Seems like while in searching for his friend he has disturbed the rabbits supper. He apologies and Introduces himself. The rabbit's

Once in the car I turn up the heat to "4" and start to munch on a piece of toast. Dave and Lee, my morning companions, are at work on the radio and I
begin my commute.
We're seven miles from the airport which I have timed to take about twenty minutes, on a good day. Around me shadows of house flash by. In the

others who wait in silent communion.
"Good morning," the bus driver says in the most cheerful tone he can muster after an exciting evening on the graveyard shift.

In Company of the Moon and Inner Sorrow, "Acquainted with the Night"
In Robert Frost's poem, "Acquainted with the Night", there is a sense of melancholic loneliness of which the speaker seems to be content with. The
reader sees a glimpse of his perpetual depression on a habitual night time walk. He starts by saying he is "one acquainted with the night" (line 1). He
feels a sort of companionship with this time of day. Ironically enough, while most everyone else is asleep and quiet, he feels a sense of belonging.
The speaker personifies the city through parallels of his own lonely depression. Having walked "out in rain–and back in rain" shows that despite the
weather, he is persistent in his practice (line 2). The rain is symbolic of a gloomy mood or even a rough patch in one's life. In this case, the rain is
parallel to his actuality. As it rains for an extended period, we can infer that the persona has suffered with depression for some time. Underlying
causes of his sadness are not clear. However, the reader gets the impression he lives a life alone. His sense of being is encompassed in the imagery
of the somber city streets. He is lonely, a continual moment of subtle dread haunts his life. The repetition of the phrase, "I have", at the beginning of
the first four lines is significant as it shows all he experiences on these walks. The walk seems to be a nightly ritual, perhaps a way to clear his
thoughts. Insomnia is often linked with feelings of emptiness in a depressed
