2. A GENERAL PRACTITIONER ( OR GP ) Is a doctor who treats the
most common everyday illnesses. A Medical Specialist
or parts of the body , for example a dermatologist or cardalogist ,
people usually go to shospital if they have a medical emergency.

3. Type of illnesses
We can classify illnesses two basic groups:
Infectious diseases:
Are illnesses that are caused by microorganisms some examples: influenza measles or chicken pox
Noninfectious diseases
Aren`t caused by microorganisms like : allergies , malnutrition , substances abuse and mental
illnesses

4. Infectious diseases
Bacteria, viruses, protozoans and fungi are common microorganism. Some of them are not harmful
to humans, but other can`t cause infectious diseases.
Tuberculosis, tetanus or salmonellosis. We can treat some bacterial infectious with medicines. Many
viruses are harmful to human beings like flu, measles, rubella and AIDS. We can treat some of these
viral infections with antiviral medicines. Protozoans can cause serious infections like malaria,
