Cover letter
Among my colleagues, I’m known as the one who works well in
challenging, fast-paced, high-stress and deadline-oriented environments;
individually or as part of a team. Proficient in post-player development as
well as team development; knowledgeable in developing practice plans,
scouting reports and game film analysis. Focused on consistent quality
work and a desire to simplify and innovate the daily operations of
basketball programs and the industries of player development. In just my
second year with the program at Wake Technical Community College, we
were able to reach the D2 JUCO Final Four. Throughout the season my
main roles included coordinating video exchange as well as breaking
down game film and providing detailed scouting reports for my head coach
(which are provided in this packet). In my time with the program I have
had the opportunity to sharpen my skills in player development. This
season, I assisted with the post player development and throughout the
off-season I have held training sessions for local Division 1 basketball
guards. I realize that the position entails a lot of late nights, hard work,
patience, and knows how-to which I have all. I have proven in my job
capacity at Wake Technical Community College that I am willing to go
above and beyond the call of duty to complete that task at hand in the
most successful manner possible. This is why I would make the best
candidate for this position.
I kindly thank you for your time and consideration. Please contact me at
(252)-469-5153 and cochvalentine32@gmail.com at your earliest
convenience.
