I have made this presentation file on the topic The
Internal Structure Of Earth. I have tried my best to
present all the details Information about structure of Earth.
In the beginning I have tried to give you general information
on this topic.

5. Introduction
 The Interior of the Earth is Hotter with Depth .
 Internal Structure of the Earth Describe with Help of
Seismic Waves.
 This Seismic Waves can be Generated at the time of
Earthquake.
 Different Materials Transmitted by Different Seismic
Waves.
 On Behalf the Internal Structure Of the Earth Is Divided
into F Following Three Parts.
1) The Crust 2) The Mantle 3) The Core

6. The Crust
It is Uppermost topmost Layer of the
Earth.
The Depth of the Crust is near about 33
km below the Earth surface.
The Crust is divided into two types.
SIAL
SIMA

7. SIAL: [ SI = Silicon , AL = Aluminum
]
 It is Uppermost Continental Crust Rich with
Silica And Aluminum.
 This type of rocks are Granitic in
Composition.
 It is also called as Conrad Discontinuity.
 Sial has lower Density ( 2700-2800 kg𝑚3)

8. SIMA: [ SI = Silica , MA = Magnesium ]
 It is Lower Continental Crust rich with
Silica and Magnesium
 This type of rocks are Basaltic in
Composition.
 It is also called as Oceanic Crust
 It has higher Density ( 2800-3300kg 𝑚3)

9. The Mantle:
 It is the 2nd layer Below the Crust lies to the depth
2900 km below the lower Boundary of Crust.
 It is in Vicious Form & source of most Volcanic
Activity.
 Chemically made up of basic material called Aptly
ultra Basic.
(Composed of silicon rocks)
 Temperature is 1000c & Density is 4.5

10. Core:
 It is the Innermost Concentric Part of
Earth.
 Its Density is 12.5 & it Extends up to the
Center of the Earth (6371km).
 It is Divided into 3 Parts.
1) Outer Core.
2) Middle Core.
3) Inner Core.

11. 1) It Extend from 2900km to 4982 km.
2) Considered as a metallic Solid & Liquid.
3) Temperature is 3700c.
o Outer Core:
o Middle Core:
1) It Extends from 4982km to 5121 km .
2) It Contains Semi liquid Fluid.
3) Temperature is 3850km.
o Inner Core:
1) It extends from 5121 km to 6371 km.
2) It Contains Nickel and Iron .
3) Temperature is 4000c.
