Motorola Platform 2000: Tested pre-release Motorola P2k CDMA, TDMA, and GSM phone
builds with pre-release TrueSync, Starfish/VoiceStream GPRS, and Motorola wireless modem
software. Wrote test cases, built/ran automated test suites with SILK, and logged bugs.
Coordinated with Motorola engineers regarding bugs/interface issues.
Starfish/VoiceStream GPRS: Black box tested Starfish designed GPRS software. Verified
functionality/connectivity of VoiceStream-branded software to Motorola and Nokia test phones.
Starfish TrueSync Plus 3.x: Wrote test cases, ran test suites, and logged bugs for Starfish
TrueSync Plus data synchronization software via wireless LAN and USB synchronization cables.
Tests included Nokia, Ericsson and Motorola phones along with WinCE (Pocket PC) and Palm
devices.
ClipOn: Performed black box functional testing of new firmware builds for Starfish-designed
Motorola ClipOn PIM device. Wrote test cases, ran test suites, and logged bugs for Starfish
TrueSync Plus data synchronization software. Testing included desktop PIMs (Outlook, Lotus
Notes/Organizer, TrueSync Desktop), devices/phones (Palm III/V, Motorola ClipOn, StarTAC)

Excite Planner (Lead): Performed QA testing of Planner's HTML browser interface with
TrueSync Server/Oracle database back end. Installed and smoke tested TrueSync Server builds
before shipment to Excite.
QA Lab: Setup and networked two Windows QA test labs. Built Windows and Linux PCs.
Installed and configured network hubs/cards (wireless and attached) and modems. Administered
QA lab’s Exchange 2000 Server; added users, profiles, and e-mail accounts. Created and
installed Ghost images for test PCs. Handled IT networking related issues within the QA group.

Motorola: Managed the technical aspects for re-release of the TrueSync Connectivity Kit for the
Motorola StarTAC legacy phone. Resolved communication issues/bugs regarding newer

Excite Planner: Managed the Starfish/Excite relationship. Provided on-site technical
consultation and support for Excite personnel regarding new features, bug fixes, and
performance improvements. Tracked and scheduled new features, bugs, and deprecations for
Excite Planner’s implementation of TrueSync Server and TrueSync Plus desktop software.
Coordinated with Starfish software engineers to ensure timely release of new TrueSync Server
