makikita ang mga taong
nagliligtas ng ating bahay at
nagpapanatili ng kaayusan

Sa panaderya, botika,
supermarket at palengke tayo
nakabibili ng pangunahing
pangangailangan tulad ng
tinapay, karne, isda, gamot,
tubig, gulay, prutas, damit at
iba pa.
Post office ang tawag sa

kumukuha ng sulat o liham.
Sa barberya naman tayo
nagpapagupit ng ating
buhok. Klinika naman ang
tawag sa lugar kung saan
tayo nagpapakonsulta ng
ating ngipin at iba pang
bahagi ng ating bibig.

malaki at maliit na letra.
Maraming bagay ang nag-

halimbawa nito ay lapis,
lata, lagari at iba pa.

Quiet Time
The teacher commends the learners for the work they did in Work Period Time 1 and tells them to prepare for recess time/health break by sanitizing their hands.
After their health break, the teacher reminds the children to pack away the things they used during recess time, clean up their eating area, throw their trash in the
trash bin, sanitize their hands, and have their Quiet Time.

While singing a transition song, the teacher “wakes” the learners up and tells them that it’s time to listen to a story. When the learners are ready, the teacher

Post office ang tawag sa lugar kung saan tayo kumukuha ng sulat o liham. Sa barberya naman tayo nagpapagupit ng ating buhok. Klinika naman ang tawag sa lugar kung saan tayo nagpapakonsulta ng ating ngipin at iba pang bahagi ng ating bibig. Ang letrang Ll ay may malaki at maliit na letra. Maraming bagay ang nag- uumpi sa letrang Ll, halimbawa nito ay lapis, lata, lagari at iba pa. What are the things that you’ve learned? There are places in the community where I can learn things. This includes the school, library, day care centers etc. Show a chart of special medical services. Match it with special medical needs. For example: Tooth ache – Dentist’s office Pregnant woman – lying in clinic, etc. Show pictures of the following items (add other items that are relevant to the community): clothes shoes and bags furniture (table, chairs, cabinet, bed, etc) lumber, galvanized iron sheets (yero), nails, etc) appliances (T.V. etc.) school supplies, bread, vegetable seeds. Ask: Where do you buy these things? Let the learners present their work. Let the learners present their work. Ask the learners to sing the “The Letter Ll Song”

Transition to Health Break/ Quiet Time The teacher commends the learners for the work they did in Work Period Time 1 and tells them to prepare for recess time/health break by sanitizing their hands. After their health break, the teacher reminds the children to pack away the things they used during recess time, clean up their eating area, throw their trash in the trash bin, sanitize their hands, and have their Quiet Time. Health Break/Quiet Time (8:45am-9:10am) Transition to Story Time While singing a transition song, the teacher “wakes” the learners up and tells them that it’s time to listen to a story. When the learners are ready, the teacher proceeds with the pre-reading activities and makes sure that the learners are listening attentively. Why did you go there? ● Motive question: They did the characters in the story go to the hospital? ● Theme: Any age and culturally appropriate story about a market. ● Define difficult words. ● Motivation question: What food do you usually buy? ● Motive question: What food will the characters in the story buy? ● Theme: Any age and culturally appropriate story about places in the community where services are given. ● Define difficult words. ● Motivation question: Have you been to a hairdresser or barber shop? What did you feel while you were there? ● Motive question: What will the characters in the story feel? ● Theme: Any age and culturally appropriate story about saving money. ● Define difficult words. ● Motivation question: Have you seen or been to a bank? ● Motive question: What will the characters in the story do inside the bank? During Reading Ask comprehension questions.
