Miller Products, LLC – Manufacturing Engineer: December, 2007 – October 2008 Grand Rapids, MI
♦Program Manager for Ford Edge sunroof program. Coordinated the planning and implementation of all processes
involved for program. Regularly tracked inventories and production to ensure efficient line usage, and effective daily
production schedules.
♦Liaison between Tier I, Tier II, and Miller Products for Ford Edge, Ford Mustang, and Lincoln Aviator programs.
Represented Miller at Tier I plant to resolve quality issues and look for potential improvements. Mentored production
teams in customer plants to improve efficiency and develop paint understanding.
♦Led Continuous Improvements and Cost Savings Initiatives. Collaborated with production team to improve
throughput of production line (100%) in two months and ultimately saving Miller 50% on supplies involved in
processing operation of Class A trim panels.
♦Assisted management team in the program management and process planning for Ford Mustang and Lincoln Aviator
programs. Created timelines and milestones with management and production teams to prepare for the launch of the
programs.

Volkswagen - Product Management Intern: January, 2007 – July, 2007 Auburn Hills, MI
♦Developed “Lieferprogramm” (Delivery Program) format for Volkswagen vehicle line. This document combined
order information useful to dealers and bridges the gap with Germany for the different configurations of vehicles.
♦Planned and researched new vehicle models and forecasted volumes. Compared technical specifications of
Volkswagen brand versus competitors to identify market advantages.
Chrysler – Manufacturing Intern: May, 2006 – September, 2006 Warren, MI
♦Production experience including taking on the roles and responsibilities of a Business Unit Supervisor. This
involved working with production and skilled trade teams and reporting out on safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale,
and line performance at daily meetings.
♦Teamed with another intern to create and develop a standardized procedure for identifying and eliminating dirt
during the stamping process for each process component and coordinated instruction sessions with teams, group
leaders, and line supervisors.
♦Worked with Production Planner to facilitate an increase in the number of blanks on a pallet for the Jeep Grand
Cherokee Floor Pan. This reduced truck requirements and saved Chrysler approximately $7000 per year.
